Losira hit MC's mineral lines at MLG, causing MC to lose the game, yet that is actually very rare, if you watched the Sen series he pulls almost instantly. It's also very hard to hit blink stalkers with them, especially with sentries, archons, and colossus mixed in. The only time I see them being useful is very late when alraedy maxed. A overlord with 4 banelings only accounts for 2 supply, so you can easilly have 10 overlords with 40 banelings and do fast, hard damage on fungal stalkers after your infestor count is high enough and with ultra support. Putting an overlord with 4 +2 banes outside every mining base would be nice as well. Wait until a big battle where a protoss will have to focus on blink micro, then send the overlords in (This will take 2 seconds with control groups). If there is no cannon to pull aggro, the banes will auto-kill 10-20 probes at each base, enough to end the game Will be interesting to see how they fit into the metagame. | ||
