A few hours is okay, a couple of days makes sense, but this is way too much. Every player has a story, constant up and downs; there's drama; even the metagame has shifted. With such a delay it feels like it is just some random players going against each other. Even if the actual game is interesting, the delay ruins the hype around it. Spectator sports are all about what's happening now.
That's not to say that I doubt it I'll enjoy IPL. As long as they show high quality games I will tune in - but it will always be second tier tournament.

Well on Day1 he was feeling bad, but on the other days I think he was fine. So it might just depend on what day of the weekend he played drewbie. Regardless, I think IdrA will beat drewbie anyway. I haven't heard anything about drewbie lately...I didn't even know he was still playing.

Agreed. I really hope they could do ro16 games then cast, then to ro8 then cast, ect. in the future. Or maybe they need to do stricter times. NASL said they couldn't do it from replays because players are so lazy about sending in replays because it doesn't feel as urgent.

game 2 was pretty lol though, legosu tried to hallucinate IdrA out of the game, but it seems like IdrA's learned from that :D no no no on that was a mistake the caster was a complete idiot(maybe it was his co caster not sure). He hit H instead of G (if u didn't know g and h are next to each other) when the cyber was done and was CRAZY far behind cuzz of that so when Idra did the Roach ling all in he had zero units and he canceled his nexus and lost the cyber. so when he attacked he tried to hallu some units to try to have a small chance to win.

I doubt it that this is the actual reason behind it... Such a massive league always has a referee observing the game, so they could be in charge of getting the replays. I think they didn't want to have it pre-recorded and casted from replays in the same time as they though it would attract too much criticism.
