and what about white-ra if u don't like huk?
or naniwa?
maybe ur just talking about streamers?
anyways huk is amazing
oh and tyler is pretty good too
I have watched both IdrA and HuK's streams and IdrA is clearly better. HuK is wierd, he isn't refined like tyler or have the mechanics of IdrA. Plus I don't his music, his stream quality, or livestream. White-ra and naniwa don't count because they are not active in the english speaking community so it's not the same as watching somebody who commentates what they are saying. Tyler > huk but most of his games are the same copy paste allin and pvp is lame. IdrA plays reactively so it's different.

look up to, to regard with admiration or respect; esteem: A boy needs a father he can look up to.

Uhh sorry travis, but huk is in no way comparable to Idra in terms of skill. Idra faced huk a few days ago on ladder and utterly decimated him. (Also idra just beat "the best terran player in the world" iMMVP). So I understand where the toss players are coming from.
PS I play terran and love watching idra more than my favorite terran players. (Jinro, MVP, Nada, QXC, etc) He is that good.

tyler/whitera are amazing however,
You guys ever actually watch Huk play?
Theirs a reason he has 3rd spot on the ladder.
There's also a reason he hasn't qualified for GSL yet and was just given a seed this season. He might do well but I agree with the concensus that he has not so great mechanics. He just exploits protoss strengths better so he does well in ladder. And yes, I've watched Huk play on his stream.
I agree that Whitera and Tyler are better.
I'm not saying Huk is bad, but people treat him as though he's the best in the world and that's kinda laughable.

I've seen huk face idra numerous times on the ladder and I've never seen him lose. So that kind of negates this account you're giving.
Also, I never said huk was as good as idra anyways.
im done arguing this though, you guys are silly. i'll go back and quote you guys for a laugh once huk is destroying everything (which will be soon)

Isn't there enough enough arguments between Idra and Huk fanboys in their respective stream chats, without dragging it in here?

i guess that's just what people are gonna say when you're in the idra fan club
you actually think ladder means something rofl?
also why does having 2 accs even matter.
you could play all those games on same acc and have same number of points.... mass gaming doesnt mean inflated points
Thebestfou has the same points as HuK, i guess you'd say he was a great player too? (Rofl) im basing it on watching his stream and his decision making, plus fact he didnt even qualify for gsl4
but yeah ladder means nothing, there are a bunch of randoms that do very badly in gsl that do great on ladder ;/ (Losira, ogssupernova, etc)
also "i've never seen huk lose to idra" i've seen him cannon rush idra going pool first expand which is just completely non-sensical and cheesy, i doubt huk is gonna destroy anything with his gimmicky and abusive playstyle, at best he'll just be a "decent" progamer who never wins much or achieves anything, not exactly hard to accomplish that by just mass grinding games instead of learning a solid macro playstyle

So much ignorance in this thread...
I don't wanne make a comment on who I think is better, I just want you to realise, that Mvp does lose 40% of his ladder games (I repeat, 4 out of 10 people beat him without automaticly being the best player in the world). So stop using single games if you want to make a statement without making yourself look like an idiot.

Im not one to say huk is bad but i preferr Idras approach to the game. Or tylers wellthought out timing attacks. It's a matter of preference. You're obviously a Huk fanboy from the replys I've seen. I hope youre right that he will become even better. But at the moment Í still vallue other players above him.
And Ladder isn't really a measurement of skill in my opinion. If you put in more time you get higher. Time will prove who's right.
It's ok to value others above him. To say Idra is better is fine. To say Huk isn't good is simple ignorance and unwarranted. It's like people claiming Idra isn't good because he didn't win GSL; yet all driven by personal like/dislike, something which would also be ignorant and unwarranted. Tournaments are #1 for skill measurement but there's no doubt that doing good in the Korean ladder means you're very good. Not the best, because that is determined by tournaments, but very good nonetheless.
Why do always seem to be a clash betwheen Huk and Idra's fanbase? guys, if you dont like one another leave it there, bashing on the other is usually driven by a lack of real knowledge on the other part. Besides, Huk didnt have real chances to show his play yet, not qualifying for GSL open season 3 was normal since he was obviously jetlagged, we will see how he fares in the code A with his vast KR ladder experience, I can only wish him the best. And to reach the GSL code S final only to be destroyed by IdrA of course

While your statement is correct, you must understand the context you're posting in. IdrA himself has stated his dislike of HuK's play, so you should presume his fans would also jump on that idea because it came from IdrA and internalise it as their own notions regarding HuK's playing ability.
I believe HuK is a good player, but is not an iconic player for the foreigner protoss race as Jinro is to Terran and IdrA is to Zerg. I personally don't enjoy his style of play, but I acknowledge that it can be successful, if a little 'all-inny' and disappointing to watch.
