What the heck is a k hole supposed to be though? lol I mean..."I'm stuck in a hole [of listening to this etc], but it's korean so I'm going to add a k"? Really?
A K hole is something that happens if you take too much Ketamine. (I advise you or anyone reading this don't) I suppose she is comparing looping Gangnam Style to that in an allegorical way.
Ohh...I thought it had something to do with kpop .__. now I just feel stupid.
Well I guess she really likes it lol. She must have millions of twitter followers so.
Maybe this really will be the beginning of kpop making it big in murica even though gangnam style isn't exactly like most kpop (i.e. girl groups/artists) by a long shot of course.
Vog beat me to it but yea katy perry is comparing gangnam style to an OD. the wierd thing is super oding on K leaves you vegetative. So is she like saying shes brain dead on the kpops?

eh I don't think the style of (girl group) kpop would ever catch on in the US. I don't think there is really any group dynamic idol group for females; there are individual pop icons like britney spears or madonna or stuff now (katy perry, lady gaga, w/e) but I don't recall there really being a big fuss over any girl groups except maybe spice girls or something. Plus US likes its sexy pop girls, not the comparatively reserved "idol" aspect of kpop.
Guy group kpop full steam ahead. Nsync and backstreet boys and jonas brothers and stuff were popular, afaik.
edit--and I don't see any individual singer becoming popular, because whats the appeal of an individual person in a language you can't understand (to warrant actual growth of kpop as an industry to US). Boa or Lee Hyori or somebody can be a pop star in korea, but easily can be substituted with a US pop star. Catchy or sexy videos here and there get viewed (Gee, Brown Eyed girls abracadabra, PSY) but no real growth.

yeah dj masa stuff is good. I dislike the autotune aswell. this song by DJ masa is what got me into kpop
That is probably the best mashup he has done, it was just before the supersaturation of the market. Listen to 2010 part 2, it's just a mess because he shoved too many songs into it.
