Even with the free publicity / fans from being a "victim," I don't see her ever having enough pull to even have one successful solo album. I doubt KKS would want to put her back into anything since he's probably the one who wanted her ousted in the first place.
Also remember that KKS, was quite vocal during the Kara incident about barring them from the industry permanently, so there's a reasonable chance he'd try to block her from doing anything.
It's extremely unlikely she is ever permitted back in T-ara, even if allowed to do other things musically. You just rehash all of this drama and cause even more blowback on the group. It's not remotely worth it.

I'm pretty sure it happened in the past and I don't think it lasted more than 1 or 2 pages.
Not much to say really regarding the "hate". I don't really feel the flame in me today... and I respect peoples opinion. However, I don't think it's fair to go around calling them bad or whatever if you only base your opinions on their singles. In my opinion, most of their best songs aren't their singles and were never promoted. Therefore I think most people's idea of the group could change if they took the time to truly give their albums a listen.
I think that KPop is more of a personal experience than a musical one, so to speak. At least it was and still is for me. I like the Korean language, I like when it's sung, especially by females. I listen to quiet a lot of Korean ballads and some Hip-Hop but not that much actual Pop music other than KARA. That's because I have some sort of personal connection with KARA. Nicole specifically.
Upon seeing her, it was love at first sight, took one second and I knew I had to find out more about that girl. And so I did. Started watching everything of her that was ever recorded. Listened to every words she said, downloaded every pictures. At first, I wasn't the biggest fan of KARA's music but it grew on me as I learned more and more about Nicole and the rest of the group.
It's obvious that I want to support Nicole as much as I can... Because, part of me relates to her, part of me loves her as a person, and I want to see her grow along with me, I want to see her succeed, break down barriers and be happy. But take Gyuri for example, I never liked her voice. She looks great, but her personality never was attractive to me. That changed last year. The more I've seen of her recently, the more her personality grew on me. I don't really understand her. She always appear calm and collected, she's never the one to shine the brightest, smile the most or attract attention in any ways really. On Twitter, she appears profound, reflective, mature... The whole "goddess" thing, she hasn't been doing that for a while now really... And I think that was some type of front, to hide something, to hide the real her and gather the strength to go on. I don't know, she's interesting. So now I want to see more of her you know, I feel like I almost know Nicole by now but Gyuri is a mystery and an interesting one, even though I don't like her singing.
So yeah, to me it's more about the people than the music, the music is like an added plus when it's actually good. I'm pretty convinced that this is the same for most people, if not every single KPop listener in the world. "Lolly polly lolly lolly polly", Really ? I'm not hating on T-Ara or anything just I don't know, I think that it just all comes down to who you first liked and grew to know. You obviously prefer the group that you know more you know. So yeah... Sorry if I didn't make my thoughts clear, like I said, the flame isn't there today.
Now I'll post some of my favorite KARA songs that weren't singles. I included some of my thoughts and reasons on why I liked each and every songs.
One of their most iconic ballad. A showcase of their singing skills. Particularly fun to watch Live as they put emotions into it quite well. A very good song, I like it a lot.
Also a great ballad, my second favorite KARA ballad. I really enjoy the way Nicole ends the chorus and how it let places to the instrumental to smoothly resume.
Just a fun tune, original tempo and vocals, I like the chorus, especially when Nicole sings the interjected lines. Plus Nicole raps a cool and original little rap that actually fits the song and adds to it nicely. The ending line at 2:28 before the chorus is quite amazing and followed by the chorus ends the song superbly in my opinion, I really love how it ends. A very good and under appreciated song.
This is my anthem song lol. When I feel good and want to utterly destroy noobs in whatever game I'm playing or focus 100% on what I'm doing, I turn the volume way up, blast this and sing along. It's one of my favorite KARA song. When I feel good it just amplifies that feeling, makes me feel amazing, filled with happiness. I love everything about it.
I love this song because of how different it sounds to what I'm used to. I Really like the chorus and the line before it that leads to it. It also makes me feel happy in a way, I don't know it kinds of me warm me lol, I quite like it.
When I listen to this song, I listen to the an audio rip from the KARASIA live performance. The Live performance of it that was recorded during the last KARASIA in Japan for wowowTV was simply put amazing. Everything was perfect, their voices, the sound, the ad-libs they added in, the crowd, the energy, the fun factor of them throwing in the balls in the crowd and running around. The chorus of the Live performance is really energetic and cute, it`s great. A lot better in my opinion than the CD version I linked. If anyone wants the audio rip I`m talking about, just PM me and I`ll upload it.
By far the best song from Step album in my opinion. Chorus is amazing, the way they bridge the verses to the chorus is executed very nicely. Good energetic upbeat tempo, well used ad-libs, I like this a lot.
Smooth yet upbeat at the same time, some of the vocals techniques used are re-mindful of Dreaming Girls but simply used in a smoother atmosphere. Works great, in my opinion, I like the feeling of the song.

That doesn't mean she's a superstar. She's a two-bit actress\amusement in the world of showbiz.

Kpop tends to be about positivity. Using an extremely negative scandal to draw attention to a new group is probably not something any company would want to do, especially a small one. What would it do for their reputation if all they were ever known for was "that company who hired Hwayoung."
I don't get where this venomous nonsense is coming from. Show me on the doll where miss Ryu touched you, Stork.
Show me where you came up with this venomous adjective. I have no idea what you're on about.
Kuja: If hwayoung really had that kind of star potential KKS never would have kicked her out. Instead, she never gained much of a following in T-ARA, despite being in such a ridiculously advantageous position for a rookie. You talk about free media attention but she got plenty of that when she joined T-ARA. Didn't help her there, why would it help her elsewhere? Especially when this time it's such a negative sort of attention. I don't see how it matters if the fans are for or against her, the fact she's part of this whole shitstorm at all is a negative.
I don't think your catching my drift yo. Due to the nature of the event Hwayoung has that kind of star potential BECAUSE she was kicked off of T-ARA not because she was in it yo. Also, im saying it would be (potentially) advantageous for a smaller company to pick her up because it would get them free media, T-ARA already had its own (not free by the way) media when they picked her up, the company was creating the media not Hwayoung; she was just the topic. If a smaller company picked her up (which presupposes they don't have the media/advertising power that T-ARA's label company had) Hwayoung would be the cause and topic of that free media, which takes the burden of the company (to an extent) to buy that media. yo.
I really need to know, is anyone else diggin what im puttin up or is stork in the right on this one yo?
I'm digging yo. I just can't muster the effort to reply to anything he says any longer, he is really bringing this thread down to the gutter. Major annoying.

He's closer to being one than a kpop star. Being a superstar is basically being popular, the better you're known the more likely you're going to be popular. Don't even know why this is debatable.
