What does that say about her personality?
So she'll openly call the CEO a liar, but then she doesn't have the balls to set the record straight. I don't get how people aren't seeing this angle. They just keep crying that Hwayoung is being picked on. But you know what? Hwayoung is the one with all the power here. She can easily go on twitter and tell her side. But she hasn't. Why? Most likely because the company really DOES have dirt on her.
At the very least, she could have cleared the rest of T-ara from the bullying accusations. She didn't. What does that say? If they really bullied her, it says that she's not a generous person and holds grudges. If they didn't bully her, then that's 1000x worse. In the end, I blame Hwayoung 100%. The other girls' tweets could have been about anything. Until Hwayoung decided to take to twitter and make sure everyone knew it was about her. What's that tell you about her personality?
The others didn't spread nasty rumors or anything like that. They said someone on the team lacks dedication and manners. What do you think that says? The fact that the majority of T-ara's founding members backed up Hyomin's statement is telling. The fact that the ONLY person speaking up for Hwayoung is her sister. Nobody else at that company? If the founding members were bullying and trying to kick out new members, I think it's they who would be the ones punished. Because I doubt KKS would like the girls taking power into their own hands and deciding who gets to stay and go. In fact, if that were the case, he'd probably kick out one of the founding members just to show who was in charge.
Shit don't add up. Netizens too busy freaking out because they got bullied themselves as kids so they want to go with that tardcake interpretation and rage hard to try to exorcise the demons of their own pasts. Pathetic imo. To be frank, the girls could have clarified their stance while netizens were suspecting that they were talking about Hwayoung, but they didn't, so your point about their tweets being about anything is a little off. Hwayoung's sister is also still under the hands of a subsidiary of CCM, so she's still under KKS's hands - thus she doesn't quite have as much power as you may think, and Hwayoung may have intentionally not clarified this for fear of getting her career destroyed. KKS is pretty powerful...
You honestly think there's no "no press / public media / fan contact" policy in place for the rest of T-ara atm? Them not saying anything just means they're not allowed to say anything.

It was around the time the Japanese concert took place. We were getting big with our “Lovey Dovey” shuffle dance after Hwayoung was admitted, and getting ready to perform “Roly Poly” for our year-end performance.
During one of the rehearsals, it was a situation where Kwang Soo had jam-packed our schedules, so both the dancers and the members of T-ara who had just completed their day’s work were extremely sensitive and on edge.
Still, everyone was mustering up their last bit of strength and practicing, when Hwayoung messed up a little bit of the choreography.
Seeing this, Jiyeon and Soyeon then sarcastically scoffed at her, saying, ‘Since you already decided to join, you should maybe work a little harder.’
Hwayoung then became a little depressed, but the dance leader mediated the situation and the rehearsal resumed.
But Hwayoung maintained an uncomfortable expression on her face, and Jiyeon who saw this slapped Hwayoung across the cheek and told her that because she had come in late to the already-established group T-ara, she needed to act sensibly and to rehearse without that expression on her face.
The atmosphere became extremely tense, and Hyomin took Jiyeon outside, telling her that she should just be the bigger person.
Even after Hwayoung’s ‘exposure’ incident, everyone was indifferent towards her, rather than comforting.
After the incident, T-ara went on hiatus to prepare for “Day By Day” and because of events with Davichi and Brown Eyed Girls, I could only see T-ara on TV.
Seeing them on the small-screen, I thought that the girls’ relationship with Hwayoung had improved, but these girls who are all grown don’t want to sit by her in the car so they blatantly play rock paper scissors right in front of her face.” more dramaaa
Dont forget to mention the case where Boram pushed Hwayoung down a flight of stairs while everyone was watching!

AKP doesn't provide anything, they translate things reported by Korean media. Often very bad and biased translations to get more hits.

Gasp!
God, am I amused by all this. Girls bad-mouthing and fighting each other. And they're even celebrities~
And honestly, I think the way Hwayoung handled this whole thing has already destroyed her future in this industry. Depends on her. Jay Park managed it somehow, too. But I know nothing about T-ara, so I can't tell whether she's got the potential or not.

Wow, I don't even really care that much about KPop but this drama is pretty intresting. Pretty sad if the things posted here are true.

It wouldn't have turned into a big deal if Hwayoung hadn't responded on twitter and started sending tweets of her holding her sister's hand and saying she's all alone in the world. Her behavior in the whole thing makes me think that if she was being ostracized she was as big a participant in it as the other girls.

I've read through most of the drama including AKP posts and the corresponding Korean sources, and they match pretty well. At least amongst what I've read, I can tell you that there isn't a lot of translating error.
The "evidence" pictures and gifs (of the alleged bullying) are all over the Korean media - even including Fomos community gossip boards - and are, at this point, generally accepted as genuine.

Well yeah that may be the case, but its pretty obvious that those tweets are referring to Hwayoung, especially with the overwhelming amount of evidence found by netizens to prove this.
If you look back on this, it would've been wiser for the other T-ara members to clarify what they meant if they were referring to something else.

I solved the puzzle. It`s all part of a plan. T-ara will disband and CCM will create a new band with this image called "GangKiz". Flawless logic right here!

Exactly. I'm not seeing Hwayoung's innocence here. In fact, I don't see any angels in this story. Just a lot of young, hard-working, competitive people. The fans are more immature and unsympathetic than the girls they're villifying.
Jiyeon doesn't get to see her parents for years. Her dad has to show up at her fan-signings to see his daughter. You think she's going to smile and be genuinely friendly to a girl who just shows up when they're at their peak popularity and starts to take stage and singing time away from the other girls? How would you feel in that situation? You would embrace the new girl with open arms? Hwayoung stole food out of their mouths after all the hard work they put in. Anyone would be pissed off in that situation.
Yet Hwayoung is the one getting all the pity and support. There is no justice in this world.

born and raised in seoul, takes about an hour to cross the city. maybe she or her dad are just plain retarded. or, that story + alot of now coming-to-light-bullying stories are just pr-stuff.

almost the whole group started openly trashing her on twitter because she refused to go on stage due to injury. They would not have done this if she was not already an outcast.
Hwayoung is deserving of pity because she has been presumably in a very shitty spot with a group of girls who never accepted her and then had the ceo of her company kick her from the company and lie about the reason.
You don't have to like her, but this is no time to try turning her into a villain.

She's still technically the victim. If the stories are true, she's been a victim of some pretty bad bullying, and she just lost her job, more or less through no fault of her own. I think if she could have been in a new unit instead of joining an existing one and pissing off the members, she probably would, but I doubt that was her decision.
She handled it horribly, though. There's never black and white, but I think she's more or less the one that was more innocent than guilty, at least by her own actions.

Biggest villain is KKS for adding new members in the first place. Horrible idea.
But I don't feel pity for Hwayoung because she's in a spot she signed up for. She got into T-ara at their peak. I'm sure at first she was ecstatic and thought she had it made. Then when she realized she would have to work for a spot in the group and win the acceptance of the others, instead of putting in that work and keeping her head down, she started lashing out and making everyone hate her.
I've been the new guy on a team before. It sucks, but you also realize that you're johnny come lately and you got to pay your dues. That's just how it goes. Seems to me like Hwayoung didn't accept that position and failed to become part of the team. Now she's out. And instead of taking it like a professional, she chose to throw a big fit. I'm not seeing a victim here. Just a girl who couldn't hack it and wants to bring the whole house down with her on the way out.
