oh wait shes 13...
You say that like being 13 means you can't be either.
Yeah, she... could be....either...........or both......at the same time...
....in other news this is rather old (cough) by now but I'm still enjoying IU's peach :3 typical IU song you might say, but I still enjoy it very much ^^ apparently she wrote this song herself or whatever? Honestly can't tell the difference in lyrics because I don't understand hangul but it sounds fine to me!

i love it too, still. the meaning for it (sadly after being translated into english) is so nice, wish i could find english songs like it T_T. listening to korean songs like that make me look for songs in my own language o-o. sadly good opm so hard to find
brb looking up english translation, I vastly underestimated the power of IU fans evidently. Awwwww those lyrics >\\\< her EP(if you could call it that?) cover is also very cute :3
ALSO knowing nothing about your friends other than what you've posted about them, I dislike them for being mean and for only liking boy bands =__= lol
YES I'm glad you think so too(!!) The other two songs (especially third, that one makes me sad .__.) are clearly not as good as peach c:
And ohhh makes sense (and yet doesn't). I could have sworn you were chinese from that one mega ultra KMD post (SMtown 2012); goes to show that I am terrible at figuring out ethnicity...I'm chinese btdubs and actually dislike almost all chinese music...but a lot of korean/japanese music is sooo good.
I dislike most music in my language too.. but i like that at least asian languages have more connotation when you speak than english. it makes for really meaningful songs. also it feels cool that i understand it lol.
hahaha my area is vietnamese heavy so im always confused as that o_o.

as a side note I like that the third is so sad.
Er to clarify, I mean the song is good, but it makes me just soooo sad T___T I just have a thing with Korean music in general and sad songs there was many a song in which I had no idea what was going on but thought the song sounded nice; and then I saw the MV and went WTF SO SAD, looked up the lyrics, and WOW were they depressing...owned so hard... but yeah it's pretty cool that the English translations are still quite meaningful.
Ah cantopop? Yeah to me it does sound pretty guttural, you're right heh. I do like a lot of Chinese music......'s instrumentals. Seriously some of those songs are very nice, but then the singing begins (by no means limited to cantopop in this respect ofc, I mean Chinese music in general) :V
Ah I see >__< I'm a depressing/depressed enough person already I guess so listening to depressing songs is super effective sadness, not necessarily touched to the point of tears idea but more like reaaaally depressed (yeah we got a true wordsmith over here). Ballads are definitely good though!! Most of my faves are ballads as well easily (just not the sad ones...usually).
My favorite song from the album was Last Fantasy (feel so chobo saying so since it's the eponymous song ;; ) and L'amant as well!! IU jazz so good. And the Disney-style music was nice+IU voice OP. Don't like too many of her collab (for lack of a better word) songs, maybe because I'm subliminally jealous of the guys who sing with her or something :S

only collab i liked was nagging, cause it was cute
yusyus~!
BUT WHAT, YES! No wai! Nagging seriously was one of the first few (I'm talking 2 or 3) songs of IU's I've ever listened to (didn't really get into IU/kpop until not too long ago) and really drew me to IU. After many painful listens I forced myself to delete it though because I didn't like Seulong T.T first few times I was so in love with the song I hardly noticed Seulong though...

although for non-cantonese speaking people it sounds very gutteral
Agree, eventhough I haven't followed it for the longest time... Bought all the 'LOVE Best of Canto' albums ages ago. My nano still has those songs from 4-5 years ago and sometimes I like to grab it when I'm travelling. Nostalgia all over and it's fun
