Jealous people reft and light and center. Can't wait to see some of the performances on Youtube for MuBank man.
Sooo... the "americanized" accent I'd say is something that can be said for a lot of language, it's an accent right. Thank f I don't have a weird accent. Tv dramas ftw
Western names for asian is something I don't actually approve. I kept my chinese name for school and all that while I do have an English (chistian) name. As you can see, I live in the Netherlands and there's this chinese guy that's called "Karel", that name is as Dutch as it gets... That sooooo weird. But I can understand people choosing western names.

She's from America. "Nicole" isn't exactly a Korean name.
Neither are Sunny and Suzy
Soo Ji is a very much Korean sounding name, while Sunny is a nickname for Soonkyu (as is generally the case for people who go by Sunny).
then explain Lizzy? Either way without the foreknowledge someone could see those examples and see Nicole and not necessarily know that she wasn't raised in Korea.
I didn't intend that it was a foregone conclusion, but rather that it should be a good hint. There are several exceptions due to name changes or stage names.

Thing is, I kinda felt like a total creep being surrounded by 15yo girls with their bubbly appearance (pigtails, everything in pink, etc). Trying to fit in later by screaming my heart out to U-Kiss performing just exchanged this feeling for another weird one. But meh. What can you do?
The most remarkable thing was that everything was better live than on tape. I even enjoyed SNSD in the end - didn't understand why Sunny, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon got the most cheers, but w/e. The Boys is pretty decent when performed live, it's a powerful song that works when you see it and have it bang in your ear. And I say that even though the technicians fucked up Taeyeon's mic and refused to repair or replace it after Mr. Taxi so she couldn't bring the high note in The Boys, like at all. Douchebags.
Also, everyone in Sistar was fucking hot.
And I'd go to a whole 2PM concert if they did one. They're just incredibly fun.
And Soyeon #1. For those who didn't know. Most adorable thing to ever have lived.
Gonna rest now.
Beeeeeeeeeeeep.
Yo! just came back from MuBank too ! I feel the same.. way too many 15yo girls (it was the same @ SM Town concert in 2011), that was a pain in the *ss. Anyway, it was great, except that we didn't get Troublemaker (sad ) and Roly Poly was fucked up.. ;<<
About SNSD.. it sucks that we couldn't hear them sing AT ALL. Were you in the "pit" (dunno if that's the correct word) ? that was painful sometimes.. (hi shinee~~).

she basically caused seeya to break up. why would you ever like her
Meh. SeeYa could've kept going as a duo like Davichi. You could also blame Soomi for leaving to join Co-Ed School.
In any event, Gyuri is pretty hot and her voice isn't bad either.
Nam Gyuri leaving SeeYa is like Yonghwa leaving CNBlue and suing FNC music, or Jaedong leaving Oz and talking shit about his former teammates. Imperfect analogies, I know, but still adequate.
Gyuri was the face of the group and the leader, left the group without resolution to pursue "other ventures," then sued the company and publicly slandered her labelmates. Then she comes back for the last album like errthang coo? bitch r u 4 real aint swag at all
soomi leaving is a weak strawman argument; she was barely there for a year and didn't even fill the gap left by gyuri.
I'm still pretty indifferent about it all. SeeYa could've chugged along without her like they had been for all that time. And honestly, with Gyuri I'm just in it for the looks; I don't exactly listen to anything she does except that farewell album with SeeYa.

I wasn't in the pit, unfortunately. My place wasn't bad and I could see them but facial expressions were totally undetectable. And I didn't wanna stare at the big screen all the time. Next time (if there'll be one) I'll try to get in the pit. I need to confess my love to Soyeon T.T
What about "hi shinee"? Didn't even notice that.
Btw lol, koreans are so small. Those shinee guys would fit in a toolbox.

I've never seen or heard her speak spanish before. But that's what her profile page or whatever said on some website (I don't remember where I've seen it but I remember seeing it before), that she knew some. Probably learned a little at school but I wouldn't think she'd be fluent or anything.
I find it weird that in every other fan account/star poll etc., they always say Jiyeon looks really good IRL, but all the people here who've seen T-ara in person say Soyeon. Wonder if it's cause alot of people here like Soyeon and that's reflecting that or something.
I always was more on the Soyeon train than on the Jiyeon one. But tonight I felt it was justified. Once you see them both live and are able to compare, Soyeon just has a lot more charisma. Especially since Jiyeon decided to put on her bitchy face again.
If you're talking about Dara's... eh.. it sounds weird... and if you're talking about IU's... it's...... weirdly accented.. you should look up some of her covers..
