Hisui is pretty damned good, on your first playthrough you won't really feel it, but on second playthrough with difficulty dialed up, throwing support defense on Hisui is just downright amazing. Also brilliant SP set. As for Len, slap support attack on her, once you have it bosses early on gets smacked around by her armor debuff. Also she needs boots. Shirou early on blows but becomes a powerhouse later on, also his combination with Sakura is awesome damage and has a fairly decent range. EDIT - I would honestly recommend against using Akiha, Lancer and Rider if you want to get all the skill points. Especially Akiha and Rider. Also you want to get the skill points for the secret stage at the end because it is the best stage ever. | ||

If memory serves the qualification is like 48 or 50 out of 51 or so possible skill points, forgot. | ||

Which reminds me: + Show Spoiler [Durarara vol 7] + Mika wtf. She'd be a better information broker than Izaya. Fucking Nero. I spent all my SP just before killing him, thinking it was the end of the level. Then he gets back up and rapes me. T_T | ||

She is, Izaya is too busy playing his little games lol I remember that Nero level, the first time I played through it was like...ooh let me be efficient and use all my SP! ... fml Akiha is a long ranged super with -1morale on a miss and has iirc 1 item slot, no movement and requires hit and run. So not worth the effort. | ||

Hit and Run will be a very worthwhile investment on Akiha, though. Plus, I just need to put some money into her accuracy stat, right? And get Kohaku to stab her in the face with a Red Buff. | ||

That one is just restart and hope for RNG to do its job. Or purposely take some hits so you can tank for the NPC. Rider blows, but there is one mission where you need to use her, and it is downright infuriating for it and its mastery. Lancer is usable but I feel like Shion is just stronger than him with better SP. Ryougi Shiki is a must use for any T-M fan anyway. You can max out Akiha's accuracy and she will still suck. The thing is that you can't affort to use SP Regen on her early because others need it more and you are already low on points due to Hit and Run to make her usable. You'll still need either boots or +movement. It is just a ton of investments to make her even usable, then you need to make her good, which might as well as be impossible till she gets her aoe. Problem? Her aoe doesn't come till about halfway through the game, and you need her to perform within the first quarter. I think it is a lot more realistic to perhaps change tact to start using her once she gets her aoe, since it is hard to be able to spend enough on Akiha to make her usable early. Still, BMW is a game that is hard to get all masteries on the first playthrough even with using the OP characters. EDIT - Oh, actually, to make Akiha usable, you also need to use Ciel, who also sucks o/ | ||

I gotta say, "Phatasmoon" makes me lol, I'm going to enjoy using her. Plus Saber seems kinda beastly so far. Wait, why to I NEED to use Ciel for Akiha to be good? I fucking hate Ciel! | ||

・遠野秋葉 (スーパー系、遠距離) <総評> 遠距離最強のお嬢様。ATフィールド(紅赤朱)という4000以下の攻撃を問答無用で無効化するという反則技を持っているので、ほぼ間違いなくザコ相手にはやられない。これを利用して前線に出して弾避けにするのも一手。ただ、ボスを相手にする時は相手の攻撃力をしっかり確認するようにしよう。ATフィールドが突破される≒死なので。対ボス用に｢鉄壁｣が可能な分のSPは温存しておいたほうがいい。これで対近距離用にメルブラの｢喧嘩キック｣があれば全キャラ最強だったのに……。あと、｢赤朱・檻髪｣乱発によるEN切れには十分注意すべし。 The ultimate long-ranged Mistress. She has an OP skill called AT Field (Vermillion) which reduces all damage under 4000, so she'll almost certainly never die to scrubs. You can actually abuse this and send her out on the front lines to reduce damage to your team. However, make sure to watch for bosses. AT Field being destroyed = death. Against bosses, you want to keep SP for Iron Wall as much as possible. If only she had the close-combat skill from Melty Blood "Fighting Kick" she'd be the best character... also, her "Vermillion Hair Prison" drains EN, so be wary of running out by spammingi t. <技能養成> 早期に｢一撃離脱｣を覚えさせないと、せっかくの強力ユニットなのに後ろの方で遊んでいたという事になりかねない。その後はしばらく何もしなくていいが、｢鉄壁｣を覚えた頃からSP切れが怖くなり始めるのでSP系を覚えさせよう。他に覚えさせるのなら｢リズム感｣がおススメ。 <Skills> Unless you teach her Hit+Run immediately, she'll be playing around in the backfield even though she's extremely strong. You don't really need to do anything afterwards, but you'll have trouble with SP after you learn "Iron Wall" so make sure she gets the SP skills. Afterwards the only thing I'd specifically recommend is "Rhythmical." <ステータス＆武器養成> ステータスは無改造で十分だが、もしやるなら装甲とENを。武器養成はお好みで。 <Status and Weapon Upgrades> You can live with not upgrading her status, but if you do, upgrade her armor and EN. Upgrade weaponry as you please. | ||

Ciel is necessary because of the Arc/Ciel/Akiha combo attack, which is about the only reason to use Akiha and Ciel. EDIT - " If only she had the close-combat skill from Melty Blood "Fighting Kick" she'd be the best character." Yeah, if only she had a close ranged move then you can abuse her moveset. | ||
