If you come in here looking for "anime recommendations" then please refer to this chart before posting: Anime Recommendations (as of may 2014). We also have an IRC channel called #tladt where we all hang out. The channel is on Rizon, not QuakeNet! Feel free to check it out. TLADT discord is Discord.ggFor currently airing anime, please see Anichart.net |
Just watched the third episode of When the Seagulls cry:
+ Show Spoiler +Maria is a fucking creepy loli. It also seems they are throwing out any form of emotion for these characters as they all seem to forget in the first 3 minutes that 6 people were murdered.
10 people left on the island of the original 18. Six died in episode 2 and another two in episode 3.
SUPER STORY SPOILER ALERT BELOW DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING OF THE SHOW. + Show Spoiler + I was looking at the Wiki for the game to see if any of the arcs actually contained magic and it seems it does
The actual story according to Wiki is simply everyone dies except Battler, who then meets Beatrice and he now must explain all the events that took place on the island in a logical fashion while Beatrice counters him saying it was all done with magic.
I was actually hoping to make a WHO IS THE KILLER blog with all the information we get with each episode, but once I read the wiki and saw that magic existed in this world it would kinda ruin any fun. It's too bad too because I would absolutely LOVE this series if magic didn't exist and was pure mystery.

Megaupload is generally quicker (but never crap like Rapidshare - they piss me off more than any other file hosting site) than torrents, it just boils down to torrents being more readily available, usually. I can check a bunch of sites for torrents, and while I think I can search for videos on Megaupload, there isn't a big old anime topic/site dedicated to nothing but posting Megaupload links. http://www.animea.net/series

True, I had forgotten about them. That's where I've downloaded most of my non-torrented series from.

Genwar, that's why you don't read wiki ahead of time if you care, and I'll do you a favor and tell you that the wiki is wrong in so far as the whole series goes. It simply cut off at a point of the story where you are presented with overwhelming evidence for one and none for the other.
And about the emotions part, who are the ones next? Some people might have the heart to care, most would worry about their own survival. The anime doesn't quite do that part justice though, as we see a lot of anguish in the games.

What are other anime torrent dumpsites other than animesuki?

+ Show Spoiler +I am liking the anime jokes when Kyon removes the frog suit. First a macross joke now a Gundam joke. Also at least because we've seen endless eight a billion times now it seems to go by a lot faster. However it does suck that one of my favorite anime series is wasting episodes on this shit.

I also use nyaatorrents.org.

Isn't nyaatorrents an all-around dumpsite? Not just geared towards anime?
EDIT Nvm...I always assumed it was for some reason. Just checked it out, lol.
OK...
So...
Tokyoshoto.info animesuki.com nyaatorrents.org animetake.com
Any others?

Animetake.com is another for torrent/DDL. They actually have a page for every show which is really nice compared to Tokyotosho/Nyaa

Mild spoiler for the first arc: + Show Spoiler + Huh? You can still do that. One of the central points of trying to explain everything in a logical fashion is "Who did it?" The magic part is just there to mix it up. I guess if you don't like getting fed misinformation it might be annoying. Major spoiler for the meta series: + Show Spoiler + For example, one theory is that everything Battler doesn't directly see could be false. So when we the audience see something crazy with magic, it's just Beatrice's crazy way of trying to make magic the cause, while the actual process could be something mundane.

Considering how that moderate spoiler destroys the premise of the second episode of game, I think you should probably relabel that as a major spoiler, pooshlmer. Besides, + Show Spoiler +Magic technically isn't misinformation, if Battler believed it, it becomes real
For Haruhi, ld raws, portable media player, fastfoward to end, then check outfits.

Haruhi 16... It's like the others. Moving on.
