I think they have a torrent with everthing before new challenger, 76 episodes total, and it has like 12 seeds and 14 leechers, so yeah. Search for ippo complete. You have to sign up to use it though. Because they track your upload and download ratio. If you download way more than you upload, they kick you out, haha. Demonoid is where I usually go for my torrents. | ||

Serial Experiments Lain is very dark, though not in a violent way at all. For non-steryotypical characters, uh... TBH Lain is an absolutely fascinating character, but she is expressionless a lot of the time, so maybe not what you're looking for. Baccano has really fun characters, but they're all sort of caricatures. Reki from Haibane Renmei is a fairly interesting, somewhat non-standard character. hmmm | ||

gg is being awfully fast with Umineko, can't help but wonder if there is someone on the staff that's ripping lines directly from the game translation project. Then again I have yet to watch a sub/read that in English, they could just be good at the speed part of things. | ||
