What am I supposed to make of the ending, like after episode 21-22? True ending?
What about the other episodes (minus Recap episode) : Alternate endings? Fanservice?

The efforts of multiple routes combine to make the best ending possible. Standard Key fare. The anime didn't cover all the routes in the VN, so that's what the specials are for.

Thx a lot! Then, after the convincing arguments, that Bigfan brought up, for "School Days", i was pretty hyped and jumped right into it... But honestly i think this was a bit TOO much for me. I couldnt bear the sheer Brutality and Violence of this show. In Fear i closed my eyes and hold my ears all the time, so i decided to drop it again, just to preserve my mental health. Still thx man, but maybe next time you could recommend me something a little bit softer. haha either you watched SD before and know why its got such a rep or you thought I'm recommending a somewhat cutesy anime from the first couple of episodes. Whatever the case, SD is the perfect example of looks can be deceiving. Re:Creators: Gave it a shot since Rei Hiroe was working on it. This show had some of the most boring dialogue i've seen in anime, more than half of the show consists of the characters explaining simple stuff in the most unintuitive way possible. The characters were also very dull even if you account for the premise . Persona was the only character that had some personality (npi) but he couldn't carry the show on his own. Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul: Liked Genesis enough to give this one a shot. Not too different from the first season except it has better worldbuilding but the MC isn't as engaging. The second half of the first season wasn't as good as its first half though so hopefully Virgin Soul won't maintain that tradition.

I have posted my opinion about Uchouten a few days ago. I completely agree with you on Bahamut. I thouroughly enjoyed LWA. It did had some weak episode and a lot of faults but I thought it was pretty decent overall. I binged AoT s2 after the season and thought it was pretty pointless. Cliffhangers and time sinks deluxe. I didn't try anything else this season.

Must Watch: - none Try/3eps: - Shoukoku no Altair (previews looked badass, MAPPA seems to be on a roll) - Isekai Shokudou (looks chill) - Kakegurui (abuse said the manga is awesome) - Made in Abyss (dark adventure? count me in) - Vatican Kiseki Chousakan (previews and premise seem decent enough) - Centaur no Nayami (someone here said there is one of the rare serious lesbian relationships in anime in here) Maybe: - Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu (if I have too much time...so probably not) Spring left-overs: - Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul

(Giving it a chance, i used to dive myself so here's hoping it's good) Koi to uso (3 episode rule, looks like it could be incredibly shitty drama but also could be interesting enough) Isekai shokudou Kakegurui (3 episode rule, it doesn't really look appealing to me but i'm giving it a shot) made in abyss Centaur no nayami

-None Try/3eps: - None Maybe: - Owarimonogatari S2 : I'll watch it when i'm caught up with the entries after Second Season. - F/A : I dislike most Nasuverse stuff yet always watch/read them for whatever reason. Migh watch it but probably wont. - Made in Abyss : The manga has a reputation for being super fucked up but idk how much substance there is behind all the horror. May watch/read at some point but probably not now. Spring left-overs: - Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul As usual I'm not gonna follow much, if anything, this season because backlog > seasonals. At least there's the Kizu III and Your Name BD's which are finally coming out.

I'm starting to get bored/annoyed. The only decent character is Boo and he is just a side character and a small child on top of that. The other ones all simply seem to lack brain which makes the conversations frustrating to watch. The name Lala Ru is also starting to get on my nerves. It sounds so silly, especially when pronounced by japanese people and in raw text it probably doubles the amount of all text Lala Ru is talking combined. It's amazing how they are able to destroy an interesting setting with shitty characters. I don't care much about the plot so far because it's rather character-driven and I don't care about the characters except for Boo. Imho, taking the shitty character-writing for granted, they should have focussed more on the world-building. Instead they are focussing on the characters which makes the shitty writing more apparent than needed. I hope they are able to pull off something decent plot-wise in the last 5 episodes. Seems like someone found Sara, who miracously survived in the sandstorm with nothing but her pants and a shirt. Assuming they are from the future, it is weird that they are all carrying swords/katana. Maybe it's explained in the game (disguise?) Kakegurui : I've read some chapters from the manga. The first episode was fun ; they took the time to properly explain their reasoning!

Once you get past the oddness of the animation, the story was good up until about episode 9. + Show Spoiler + The end is an ass-pull and while, not entirely unforeseen, it comes out of nowhere with absolutely no basis for it working out that way. Not a trash anime, but solidly mediocre despite the relatively nice visuals. Kindof Shaft appeal, without the head tilt or good story you'd get from Shaft, and the movement looks just odd.
