An absolutely garbage show with major plotholes and asspulls. Yes. On June 29 2017 22:32 abuse wrote: I guess we'll have to learn to disagree. Nonono, the thing you have to learn in this community is that, if someone has a different opinion than you he's got shit taste.

If someone happens to be interested... looks like it's going to be more of an action movie.

+ Show Spoiler [PV on youtube] + http://www.monogatari-series.com/owarimonogatari/ pick whatever you like the most. Long story short: As was already reported Owarimonogatari will not be aired the "usual" way but instead they're doing what they did with Tsukimonogatari and Hanamonogatari again (kind of). Thus we're going to get a 2day-special that has all 7 episodes aired that way. The news part is that while we knew that the 2day-special was a thing we now know everything else as well, how many episodes, when, who's singing what etc. So everything set in stone by now. I put the youtube PV in a spoilertag because the thumbnail has the names of the 3 arcs written out in the thumbnail and better safe than having to hear someonecry spoiler.

Hopefully the sci-fi and politics will be fleshed out more in the upcoming 10 episodes. What I don't like so far are the characters. One girl that doesn't talk, MC is the typical loud, pseudo-idealistic brat and the villain is a psychpathic moron who is somehow a king. Honestly, why is it always like that? I know it's hard to write good characters but it would be much easier if they had at least a decent concept for them instead of that shit. Well I'll see how much they are going to evolve. That children soldier duo has some potential I think. The MC and Not-Hitler are common criticisms towards NTHT, I agree about the MC but Not-Hitler's behavior can be justified depending on how you interpret it. Not-Rei is a clone from the most popular and most boring NGE character, Still boggles my mind how she became so popular she created her own archetype.

Well, maybe later in the story there will be some explanations that may justify the behavior of Not-Hitler. Thinking about it, Not-Hitler is an astoundingly fitting nickname here...

That children soldier duo has some potential I think. Thinking back, the MC is annoying as hell, but he's honestly quite fitting for a show like this. He's loud, obnoxious, and stupid, but his personality is a decent foil for everyone else to bounce off of. That personality is also what makes the final scene work imo. Not-Hitlers gonna Not-Hitler.

The second season is definitely better than the first, imo. BUT, at the same time, I believe Season 1 was necessary in establishing the characters, portraying their "carefree" highschool life. Fuko is back though, fk her. Being able to follow a character through different stages of his life is great, something that seems to be missing from most shows (from the limited amount of shows I've watched that only limit themselves to highschool + maybe until graduation day) I'm in the mood of watching similar to this after. Any title I should check?

Watched Koe no Katachi (2nd anime for my sister). It was a great movie. Also read the manga! I'm guessing I need the timeskip because I am greedy. If a story is good and I grow attached to the universe/characters, I don't want it to end abruptly (aka school). Also, because the school settings is used ad nauseam, it's great to see some adults from time to time. Ano Hana doesn't really have a timeskip (maybe flashbacks from the past?), but was still very interesting because you have characters that have to solve their past. In a sense, we are defined by our past choices, but we can always attempt to break free from our poor decisions by becoming better!
