i think i laughed like almost the entire episode after watching the preview i've been waiting for the next episode to happen + Show Spoiler [LN] + Kazuma and crew gonna be visiting the crimson village. Megumin's hometown Also a sidenote+ Show Spoiler [Konosuba s2 e5] + Darkness surviving megumin's explosions directly that's pretty rad It's pretty funny how one of the warriors actually admitted that he thought Darkness was the only sane one from Kazuma's party lol | ||

Essentially it's the anti-circlejerk force at work. Much like you see in SnK or SAO. Certain thing gets honed on as negative for long enough you'll get a group of people that make it their duty to attack that point from the positive. So instead of getting a balanced perspective you get two completely polar sides. The reality just gets drowned out by the two screaming at each other. Instead of trying to get the two sides to a more balanced medium, just stop caring and enjoy the shitfest. That's my philosophy on these kind of mundane stuff anyway. How can you not laugh at people defending saggy tits!?@ | ||

I'm trying to think of shows where the animation is trying to contribute to the comedy of the action scene. Action comedies are really rare (or rather, it's rare where even the high-animation action scenes themselves are jokes) so maybe another example of that doesn't exist. Although for FLCL I think there are a few examples (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). | ||
