Man I can never finish a show just for the sake of shitting on it after I do sometimes, but more of out of a hope that I change my mind about it. Despite my average show rating being below a 4, I really do want to like anime. I hated Anohana, I hated Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, I hated the original Evangelion, I hated Sword Art Online, yet I finished them hoping that I wouldn't hate them.

If your average rating you give anime is below a 4 then either you just don't like anime or you're forcing yourself to watch series that aren't for you. Maybe change how you spend your free time?

I think its pretty easy to do. It only really works if there are people who care about what you have to say though.
If you want to alleviate some of the pain you could kind of just put it on the background while you do something else and just looking at the show occasionally or when something happens or you can watch it at like 1.5x or 2.0x speed or just skip content you don't care about.

Super weird to me. I guess if you really enjoy shitting on something so that the enjoyment lost by watching something unbearable is equalized I can sort of understand it. That just raises a whole host of other questions though.
Personally haven't really watched anything I hate. I mean I hate on aspects of stories/shows but there's still some enjoyment. Like I watched the first season of SAO and think it's trash but it was well done and pretty enough to get through. Kind of like watching some stupid procedural show on TV. It's inoffensive enough to waste my time but not good enough to really enjoy.

Haha, oh god, Osomatsu-san with another funny episode. Really good anime, even though some episodes are less funny. This one had me laughing good.

Episode was quite good but not up the level of the best episodes. Kind of ironic though that this episodes main topic was changing genders and looks when I'm currently also watching Hourou Musuko.^^
Finished Hourou Musuko now. Thoughts:
+ Show Spoiler +Absolutely amazing show. I think it did really well at throwing a coming of age story together with a transgender theme. Lovable cast and I really liked the dialouge and thoughts. I said it again, but I wish more people were like this. Pondering about these difficult things, being honest to others, understanding... I can't help but love these characters.
What I kind of liked is that it was really realistic while also being incredibly idealistic/unrealistic in certain parts. I think the actual age of those characters was very well matched with how children act toward topics like sexuality, opposite gender, love etc. It's the time where these kinds of things become interesting and, depending on the character, people will more or less explore it, being by pondering or by praxis of any sort. Furthermore, the way they acted towards each other, being so honest (especially Chiba and Nitori) with the feelings, the way they talked, tried to put their feelings into words, pondering about their feelings. All of it felt so natural and, speaking from my own experience, I could very well imagine those conversations with real people. On the other hand, it's quite unrealistic to have this kind of self awareness and matureness to deliberate on yourself in that age (this being early teen, 10-13 years old). It's not a bad thing though. For me this was way more enjoyable than seeing adults in other show running off in the middle of their sentence...
The atmosphere was actually stunning and made a lot of the series. Visuals and music (lots of slow, beautiful piano pieces) ehanced the feelings conveit by each scene.
The only thing that is dragging the show down significantly is the length. They tried to get everything into 11 episodes and neglected a lot of details, missed out on giving a lot of the drama and characters more development and meat. In the end it felt really rushed at points, especially towards the end (ep8 onwards).
It's really a shame because I feel with the right pacing/length this show would have been a 10/10 for me. This way it ends up being a 9/10. Still one of the absolute best shows I have ever watched and criminally underrated imho.

Episode 10 and 11 were shrinked into episode 10 in the original release and that's the one umee subbed. That doesn't really change what I said though because it only pertains to two episodes. I planned on checking out the full versions of the episodes as well as the manga.

Watched the full version of ep 10 and 11 now. Definitely better than the shrinked version but it really doesn't change my final judgement. Some things were better understandable because the context wasn't cut out. They also touched on one or two points that I felt were underdeveloped but it still wasn't enough for those points + Show Spoiler + e.g. the pair with the transsex woman tho cooked with Nitori and Takatsuki. and there are also still other points that weren't being touched at all in those episodes. + Show Spoiler +e.g. I didn't like how they kind of dropped the development of Chiba's feelings towards Nitori halfway through the series. I mean they threw in tidbits here and there but compared to the first half it really felt like they cut out a lot of stuff to fit everything else in.
I started Kaiba now, 2 episodes in. I didn't fully grasp me yet but the set-up/setting seems interesting enough and has potential.

Is Onodera the chosen one yet?

We can only dream for Kosaki, blonde gorilla still has the crown and will always have it.

yeah but as we all know that's just the troll that leads to Onoderas inevitable win.
Most likely on a boat holding and caressing Raku's head, severed from the rest of his body as she took him by force.

I wish Onodera was real life, I need one right now.

That's not the right kind of Kosaki dream toad
maybe we'll get an actual harem end and be like Hare-kon (one husband multiple wives)

Neo told me doormat-chans sister is pretty decent. I have my doubts that any of them can be decent.
