I kind of get the hate Yuuki Aoi gets in general and all, but when she's doing that Komachi voice she's so damn good. Too sad that I can't think of anything else besides OPM and Komachi being like this. Don't think she'd make top10 VA for me in general... but when I get that rare treat (or who knows, maybe it's more common and I just don't watch the right things) she's easily top5 or even top3 for me. | ||

It's a 3/10 at best Humour is a very strange thing. It's very hit or miss and small little changes can change ones enjoyment from great to not bearable. For example, Humanity has declined is the greatest comedy I have ever watched for me personally because it hits my taste of humour to 100 %. It's a clever mix of random nonsense, sarcastic/cynic remarks and satire with lots of picks on human society, philosophy, the anime industry etc. Yet, while I think it's absolutely amazing, I only recommend it with caution because I know it hits a very specific sort of taste. Recently, after a lot of thought, I recommended it to a friend who I watch anime with regularly. We share the same taste for random nonsense, as in we find the same nonsense funny and the same nonsense unfunny, if that makes sense. He watched some of it but he doesn't really pick up on any of the society related critic and because of that the show is only "ok" for him. For me, OPM is a great parody of the super hero/battle shounen "genre" that offers a lot of dry humour and nonsense (vague discription), making fun of those shows, while also managing to do the action incredibly well. It's definitely not a 3/10 but I can understand why people wouldn't like it. To be honest, I'm quite surprised it took of the way it did. I didn't expect so many people to like this kind of stuff. | ||

They are nowhere near as immature as you say they are though yes, Yuu is still impulsive and holds the idea of family close to his heart. His actions based on that were evident in the last episode and in how far he was willing to take things. I disagree, I think Yoichi has plenty to offer. In a way, he acts like the glue in the group trying to get everyone to get along especially in season 1 (not as many issues in season 2). I also don't see what wrong with him being weak although again, he's been shown to be even more capable than Yuu and red haired guy at times especially with his demon. You'll understand what I mean if you watch season 2. Sorry but I think you're just nitpicking at this point. First, so what if her attitude clashes with Yuu? Do you want characters that get along off the bat? I'd rather they overcome their differences and become close friends, like a family through their experiences and time spent together. Also the cast has changed quite a bit from season one and they all appreciate each other's company and are willing to die for each other so your last point is moot. As for the vampires, I don't remember but when were we shown that they can fly over walls? You mean jumping? Again, nitpicking. Imagine if in every show, the two sides clashed and only one side survived and the anime ended. Pretty much every single fighting anime I've seen has survivors from both sides and they go on to fight again. You think they act dumb because they let them get away? It happens, enemy is prepared and escapes etc... Heck, even if frieza is stronger and maybe comparable to a super saiyan or so now so he's a worthy enough fighter but why the hell are you worried about the rest of the fighters? It's a bit disappointing that they are making them so weak just to make the fights close. btw, keep in mind that they do say that frieza has trained for 4 months straight so there is always the chance that he's much stronger than before but still. | ||
