also from yesterday: I finally decided to drop Dragon Ball Super. Too much is too much.
+ Show Spoiler +I didn't really mind the crappy animation and all so far. Yes it looks shit but so what. Until yesterday when I watched the last episode (from 6 days ago I think, so might be one more out by now) and saw Freezer being revived, going to Earth to get revenge. Goku and Vegeta aren't there so Gohan + Piccolo + Kuririn + Tenshinhan have to defend. So I'm stitting there like "lol so what. Even Tenshinhan was able to hold back Cell during the Cell arc. Gohan became a nerd but he was able to fight Buu head-on a little while ago and now they're up against Freezer again. This should be over in a second?"
And Gohan randomly gets taken out not even by Freezer but one of his soldiers. Granted the strongest one they had but when they explained why he was able to do that they basicly just said "he [the grunt] trained and is now even stronger than the lengendary Ginyu force soldiers were!"...
Sorry, but even I can't tolerate that shit

Sorry, but even I can't tolerate that shit + Show Spoiler +Well, I wouldn't be surprised if DBZ Gohan is a lot stronger than DB Super Gohan. Dude probably didn't train at all (unlike Goku and especially Vegeta. I also would guess Trunks is the strongest currently remaining on Earth. Or maybe Buu.)
As for Tenshinhan, I don't remember him to be strong, but maybe I'm wrong.
Oh and also, didn't Gohan not even go Super Saiyan yet? I do think he can beat all except Freeza easily if he's serious.

Hmm what's wrong with cosplay stripper. I guess stripper is just a giant tease with no payoff.

Sorry, but even I can't tolerate that shit DBS is just really sad, it's literally made me think T A was just lucky with DBZ or someone else was the one who made DBZ good. It's just extremely random now, Berus fights Goku in SS3 and yawns, Vegeta in SS1 after Bulma gets hit (don't think he even goes into SS2) 'he's stronger than Goku!' -What?
Power level minirant+ Show Spoiler +The badguy who shot Gohan said he had a power level that exceeded the Ginyu force and Captain Ginyu was byfar the strongest with a PL of 120,000 (180,000 after taking over Goku). Mystic Gohans PL used to be (after googling) 5,600,000,000,000, obviously he's weaker and not in his mystic form but it still says his PL is still around 245,000,000 during battle of the gods. The energy blasts wouldnt even register on him let alone pierce him. All the random fighters in Friezas army wouldnt even be able to touch any of the Z fighters. Heck the difference in power would be so big that the soldiers wouldn't even be able to see the Z fighters because how fast they'd bel
DBZ handled things like this so much better, they knew how stupidly OP the cast was so when they got into situations like with the mob or with Babadi's gang they'd just play around, heck they fought Dabura, the rruler of the Demon realm and all Vegeta would do was stamp his foot in boredom but now, many years in the future where everyone is alot stronger, with the exception of Gohan, they're having a hard time with soldiers with a power level of what, 15 000 at most? ugh

yeah... and about the above and Tenshinhan, he might not been on par with Cell but he was strong enough to shoot a couple blasts at him that were strong enough to hold him back giving time for android 18 to escape. Being able to hold back Cell is probably already way above Frieza seing how SSJ Goku got trashed by Cell before training, and Frieza got trashed by SSJ Goku no problems whatsoever. 18 should just be able to trash them all but she's busy looking after kids.
Piccolo in particular doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd just forget everything about fighting. Not like his fusions wear off either.
But like mentioned, this should be the equivalent of Satan vs Cell when Satan couldn't even physically walk up to him. Yeah Gohan became a nerd and is all weak compared to Buu-Saga but come one, there's no way he's now weak enough to get killed by this guy or even Frieza.
Master Roshi is fighting alongside them for crying out long. Why not bring Oolong out as well.

I gave my parents place as delivery location because I'll be there with family over Christmas/New Years.

I do agree it's a bit laughable, especially with Master Roshi and Krillin around. :D Those two shouldn't be nearly as strong as Gohan. That said, + Show Spoiler +Gohan wasn't SS or SS 2 when he got shot... I guess he still shouldn't have died (and he didn't anyways btw), but yeah. Apparently Trunks and Goten appear in the next episode which is out now, let's see. :D

Yeah I guess... there was this one episode when Gohan and Goku "trained" at home the last day (I think for Cell?) by just chilling at home the last 24 hours in SSJ form. Kuririn came over and they went fishing. Goku slept on the sideline, Kuririn wanted to see Gokus crazy fast reactions and threw a rock at him expecting him to not get hurt or catch it even while sleeping and Goku was screaming like a 5 year old little girl.
So maybe it's along those lines. If you're not paying attention you still die if a PowerLevel 5 burglar pushes a knife down your throat while you're sleeping because you're human after all.

Love how Krillin freezes up against the frieza henchmen that generally is weaker than god damn Raditz lol and isnt krillins powerlevel like 5 million or something lol

Finally get to see Komachi fight in OPM.
|
It's funny how Tatsumaki is 28 and the elder sister of Fubuki.
|
OPM Episode 10: + Show Spoiler +Nice to see nearly all of the S-Class-Heroes! Also, finally a girl. :D I laughed at the comet at the beginning. In general, I really liked this episode. Ofc Saitama ended up going on rampage again, I can't wait for that boss in the alien ship.
Also wouldn't be surprised of Saitama in the end did "nothing" and "cheated" somehow while actually doing everything.
|
Only way this arc could be bad is if Tatsumaki never gets any of her low detail scenes or if Saitama doesn't get his "Okay".
|
ahhh watchdog man and king! and the Boros teaseee! i cant wait for next OPMday

When Madoka was airing, half the fun was throwing theories around every week. The buildup to episode 10 was honestly really well done. When episode 11/12 came out after a couple months of delays (thanks to the tsunami), I found I wasn't really invested in the show anymore.
The weekly intervals go a long way toward maintaining suspense and interest. I think this is different from person to person. For me personally, a week is way too long. If I watch shows weekly I'm definitely not that invested into them. After a few weeks I will stop anticipating the next episode and I will also forget large chunks of the details, which you need in order to speculate on a genuine basis. I personally made the experience that I enjoy it way more to watch shows like this in one or a few gos (an episode a day is ok as well) and go to old discussion threads and match up the speculations there with those of my own. Family has been one of the core themes since the first episode and you shouldn't expect it to change. Compared to the first season, you don't have Yu crying for Mika and vice-versa every episode lol but you'll get those moments as you should imo.
Also, seraph wasn't really bad either unless you hated their idea of vampires. Likeable cast, fights aren't too badly animated and even though not really apparent, there's a small mystery that's reeled its head towards the end of season 1 and getting more spotlight in season 2 now. Eh? The cast was horrible aside from Shinoa and the animation was utterly terrible. What's wrong with the cast? Each person has his own reason for fighting and I think they have developed well overtime into the team they are now. Also, I don't think the animation is anywhere near as terrible as you say it is. Anyways, to each his own. I look forward to each new episode every week and liking the story so far. + Show Spoiler [latest episode] +Damn, Mika goes on a rampage to get to Yu lol. + Show Spoiler +Yuu and the red haired guy are imature brats that don't listen at all, think they are the best and yell at everyone all the time. Can they talk in a normal tone as well? I don't know. Bowguy is the typical weak guy that has nothing to offer but he does sooo much for the team spirit...only that, in this case, he doesn't. He is just there for the yelling-brothers to have someone to fight over all the time and protect to show how awesome they are. Blondie girl thinks she is superior to everyone, which isn't entirely false but her attitude clashes to much with Yuu's. Then you have the entire vampire cast that is apparently very strong and intelligent. Yet they act dumb as fuck, need helicopters to fly over a wall because they forgot that they can fly on their own, and let their oponents live on multiple occasions.
As for the animation: I won't go through the episodes again to find examples but I posted some of them back then when the show was airing. You basically have scenes where characters are floating through the air, devoid of any sense of physics or anatomy of body movements. Then you have entire fights "animated" as still frames that are being shaken. I felt like watching a manga with voices in color at times.
Outside of yuu being an idiot, I could take this description of owari no seraph s2 seriously if any of these even happened in s2.
I would say s2 gets better by a bit but not too much
