Kekkai Sensen is OK, though not very thick on the plot. Episode 4 made me have hopes on that too though.
Plastic Memories is a good anime, I like it. Mixture of sad and funny, definitely enjoyable. I'll recommmend it.
Seraph is mediocre as of now. Some episodes were really facepalm worthy, but it could become interesting considering some people reading the manga here like that.
The rest I don't know.

i cant get over the CG in Show by Rock. i mean the animation seems perfectly fine and cute-sy enough, but whenever they switch i cant help but cringe ....
also while watching arslan i cant help the feeling that i watched the same series not too long ago with a better cast of characters (yona hime!!!!).

I dropped Rinne and Pleiades now. Was still at episode 1 of both and couldn't motivate myself to even watch another episode - a clear sign that I should drop it.
I might start with Plastic Memories/Mikagura soon then.

i watched arlsan 3-4 now
i like it a lot (havent seen yona yet but i liked ep1 of it). great and prompt recovery after a dull 2nd episode
obviously the white haired guy is + Show Spoiler + which was pretty hilarious
especially with mc asking slave boi why he's sticking around and that sullen look on his face + Show Spoiler +aka indebted for saving his parents from slavery so has to remain reluctantly as a shota for whitehaired guy
sidonia 4 has gotten pretty confusing. i lost track of the hair colours again. edit: just went back and figured it out. i thought green = scientist which as you can imagine didn't help
first ep of nisekoi was pretty good. thats all the time ive had for anime so far but tons to catch up

i've been thinking about why i said that,
i think its because of how well it handles the girly parts. instead of being mildly dumb they are genuinely touching and emotional. you usually get something like that with the scale of a movie behind it, like jurassic park or laputa where you geninuely care about shit, or at the very end of an epic anime. in Pleiades ep 2 (mid) and 3 (end) they manage to produce the same sort of quality and scale of emotion completely out of the blue
it switches back and forward between that and highschool comedy, but the comedy part has its own quirk with a tendency toward being fast-paced, making it also pretty likable
its def not your average thing so far, im looking forward to ep4 and seeing how the style adapts to hopefully become more seamless. ep3 was def a step in that direction
someone should watch ep2 just so they can put into words what i fail to lol
from what MAL says its directed by the same guy as FLCL and who was involved with ~8 eps of TTGL (which was well received afaik but i never went past ep1)

I'm not entirely convinced because what you said is quite vague. Also, I honestly don't really care for movies in the way you described it most of the time unless it's well written. It's pretty much the same thing as for each form of entertainment, may it be books, shows, games or whatever else. If at all, movies fail more often in creating touching moments because they have less time to develop the story/characters for you to care than other media has.
On another note: I reached the full Complex part of SAC now (watched ep22 just now). It's freaking amazing that this series doesn't only continue its high standard but manages to become even better.

Arslan is pretty good, I think I'll go and watch the older OVA sometime. Lancer stole the show in Fate, and everything was right in the world. The K movie was pretty good, probably better than the TV series. Season 2 when etc.

Finished up GitS: SAC season 1 today and it was phenomenal. Would strongly recommend this to everyone.
+ Show Spoiler +Man, the last few Complex episodes have been a freaking ride. So damn awesome. I like how you had cool twists that weren't predictable but made a lot of sense (like Motoko acting as Aoi) but also offered a lot of twist that you could predict if you paid attention (such as the remote cyberbrain of Motoko, leaving her shell completly when her cyberbrain was destroyed and let her ghost delve into the net. Or how the chief put his trust into Motoko and the squad to survive to be rebuild later. He took that "Don't worry, as long as you're still alive you can rebuild your unit." quite literally.). Nothing seemed asspulled in the least and that's a big plus for me in a form of media where asspulls are the norm.
Overall I loved this show, definitely one of my favourites I ever watched. It basically had everything, an intriguing plot; good pacing; intelligent dialouge; destinct, realistic and likable characters; good worldbuilding; good art, animation and action; amazing soundtrack...
I also noticed how Psycho Pass picked up some details from this. One thing was that the beginning and the ending was basically the same with little differences that show of the development that the characters made during the show. Another was the endless quotes of literature in SAC's last episode.
