Arslan looks promising if you into fantasy stuff. Hope it's good :<
I saw the other day that Arslan has been animated back in the 90th. The OVAs are rated quite poorly. Has anyone seen them and can say if that is because they did a horrible job with the animation?

It'll be tough for the anime to top it I would think.
Yeah, that's why I'm a bit skeptical. I want to feel the impact and the pain through my screen when he punches a monster to bits haha xD Regardless, I recommend OPM to everyone who's read a bit of shounen (even, and especially, if they disliked it). This is so well done. It's quite unique.
Mouretsu Pirates is a solid, fun series. Back when it was airing, the main "complaint" about it was a really stupid one, with people getting hung up on the word 'pirate'.
Going to stream the movie since we haven't had a movie night in awhile. Tentatively set for Saturday, Apr 04 12:00am GMT (GMT+00:00). Stream will be on www.ustream.tv/channel/nagisc :D
Arslan source was quality, with Arakawa basically putting Silver Spoon on indefinite hold due to Arslan+health issues, the anime has better be worth it ;;

My main complaint was that the arc resolutions were awfully anticlimactic.
