Story telling was all over the place again. Worst episode so far imho. They made a huge jump in the story between the episodes and seem to expect that the viewer somehow knew what happened in between. The second half was better though, finally explaining a few things and tying loose ends together.

You make a good point but it hasn't become such a problem to bother me yet. Still Rolling Girls isn't amazing, just pretty good. I do really like that OP.
Yeah right, it doesn't bother me yet. And I mean they tried to make the story more coherent in the second half/ending of this episode. If this continues I actually don't see a problem.

Because boats is an extremely popular browser game with good VAs, decent personality, and it has the "I get you to care for me" factor with its sinking mechanic and the amount of time you invest in it.

I didn't quite realize this while watching but this is very true. Kantai does a good job with it.
