The only thing I have a problem with is the axe battles replacing gun battles. I have no problem with technology made useless by other technology. There was a throwaway line about how electronic warfare developed then jamming technology followed making it obsolete so space forces had to rely on visuals like the old days. They first did it with the Rosenritters capturing Iserlohn Fortress by using a gas that makes it so gun users explode if they fire a gun so the defenders and attackers had to use axes. In later battles they just go straight to axes without even checking for the gas and even when having the gas would be difficult such as the space fighting outside Iserlohn. If the gas is so widely available that guns are useless then you would think there would be a technological weapon that doesn't use guns that beats axe users, like maybe a robot with axes or even other melee weapons like lances and shields.
+ Show Spoiler +I forget what that gas is called, but it is extremely prevelant in LOGH. They won't always comment about it, but you will see canisters and such on the ground emitting them. Additionally, they do use crossbows and knives, so axes aren't the only... I think they are called Zephyr Particles? weapons used. Their armored suits also are somewhat laser resistant, although with enough punishment or a strong enough laser, they can still get taken out.

+ Show Spoiler +I don't think that was the last interaction they have in the zero manga. I mean, it's an opportunity for Mashima to tell the story without an ridiculous amount of flashbacks in the main manga.
On the other hand, I don't think we will get the story of how Zeref became this insanely black wizard which is sad because his "I never wanted to kill anyone" makes me incredible curious how all that happened.

+ Show Spoiler +It is the Zephyr Particle. Ok so their suits are laser resistant. They do show it in ep 43 when the Rosenritters board the enemy flag ship Schönkopf gets hit several times with lasers and the lasers bounce off. A little hard to see because of how light the lasers.

Latest episode of Parasyte was good. + Show Spoiler +The investigator is off their back though I was hoping he'll stick around (might make an appearance next episode if I saw it correctly in the preview). This new opponent now, three parasites in one? How the heck are they going to win this kind of battle? Even if Shinchi can dodge with the help of Migi, there's no way that they can create some kind of an opening for them to take him down. Really interested to see what they end up having him do.

Now that it's happened I just hope they don't pull out of this with some crap about her being found next episode like they did in Arpeggio... All in all a decent episode but I'd say it was the weakest out all the 3 we had so far. Can't compare with episode 2 at all. To anyone that's interested: + Show Spoiler [BIG, POTENTIAL SPOILER] +so according to the lore the evil ships are sunken, former shipgirls. Why they show up and fight the world isn't known. Most people think that when you get a drop, aka new ship in the game that's you somehow "purifying" one of the evil ships and turning them back to normal.
With that being said... I actually hope that it ends with them finding Kisaragi on the enemy side, deformed into being one of the abyssal fleets ships. At that point I don't even care if they go for pseudo-happy end and turn her back while realizing that all the other ships they killed were former shipgirls or drama with them having to kill Kisaragi because they can't turn her back anymore. Would at least make for a better story than "sup, I'm back because kongou found me washed on a nearby islands shore"

I'm reading the LN and it is almost borderline-H. I think HS DXD is better than this in like everything EXCEPT fanservice. But it's really fun and easy to read. Not gonna lie, it's only for the fanservice. But hey, atleast Yuki and Basara are pretty cool.
