If boats directors went through the last couple episodes thinking "damn, we need more best boat" and another guy was like "but we're focusing so much on sistership love between mutsuki class. German ships arrived in the game somewhat recently being the first foreign ships. So that's not surprising that they're on the same side but I don't think they'd introduce US or UK ships as enemys when and if that happens. It's vs the "alien" fleet. Most people think that when you get a drop, aka new ship in the game that's you somehow "purifying" one of the evil ships and turning them back to normal. With that being said... I actually hope that it ends with them finding Kisaragi on the enemy side, deformed into being one of the abyssal fleets ships. At that point I don't even care if they go for pseudo-happy end and turn her back while realizing that all the other ships they killed were former shipgirls or drama with them having to kill Kisaragi because they can't turn her back anymore. Would at least make for a better story than "sup, I'm back because kongou found me washed on a nearby islands shore" They could pull out some anime original stuff sure but who knows | ||
