EPTAnyways, started to watch love live cause I told a friend I would and that this is a good time to start on backlog. Only on the second episode and Im liking this already. Though I'm probably fundamentally biased since I like Japanese idols. Umi is my fave in love live rn.

how does + Show Spoiler + archer obtain his twin swords originally if he (shirou) has to 'scan' a weapon before manifesting it through the ubw? seems paradoxical, or did I miss something? | ||

The twin swords were just swords Archer encountered in his life and added into his collection of sword plans. Shirou just did a shitty copy version just from looking at Archer using the ones he has, which is why they are really poor reproductions (of Archers reproductions). Basically he really sucks at projection atm but he can still do it as a low level (and even then you saw what it did to his circuits). | ||

Why would you keep yelling Saber stop when you should realize that it uses a command seal and it means the difference between life and death (or taken over in this case) in battle? Also, when you have two people already telling you that caster can't be trusted, should be listening to them because they have more experience? Stupid move. Then coming back and saying you want to get involved when a) you can barely even move, b) you have nothing to offer and c) not a master anymore. Poor Saber. Imagine if Tohsaka got Saber instead, their teamwork would be phenomenal though she works really well with Archer. Didn't realize that he had that kind of history though. The whole lesser grail felt like it came out of thin air though. Don't recall them mentioning anything about there being more than one type of grail. Still not sure what heroic spirit Archer is and we haven't seen Lancer and Berserker do anything since the first couple of episodes. UBW + Show Spoiler + Well the look on Caster's face was like "wait what? Oh shit free win!" She was so surprised at the opening that he created lol. Also when it comes to some of the questions you mentioned about the grail. Well since it is the 2nd route some elements of the story are basically told as if the viewer knows about these things. I think you will enjoy the second season though  a lot of things you brought up come into play and its pretty awesome. | ||
