Finished Inou-Battle. Not bad at all: + Show Spoiler +Wish we got more into the war or not touched on it at all since it feels like there's a lot of information missing and they kinda half-assed it in the sense that they gave us bits and pieces only. Still, 9/10 since I liked all the characters and it was a fun watch. Hatoko having that scene in episode 7 where she just went all out, damn, that was epic! I never expected it since it seemed like she was the one who went along with everything and figured that she'll cool down but the constant, you don't understand must be damn annoying! I do wish she confessed her feelings to Andou though but then everyone would've had to confess to keep it even so at least it can go either way with how things ended. Wonder if there's going to be a second season.
Akatsuki no Yona: + Show Spoiler +great episode as usual. The blue dragons' childhood reminds me of Naruto with the whole nine tails bit. The whole 'want friend's bit' was sad. I'm sure he'll join them in the next episode once he realizes that they value him as a friend and such.

been having an ongoing debate about shinsekai yori and i'm wondering what the general opinion on it around here is.
personally, i think the show is a 6 or 7/10 at best. the story is above average but the characters and the way they are written ruin it for me. there is no character development, which in and of itself is not the end of the world (see indiana jones), but combine that with unlikable and wooden archtypes and it just ruins any sense of drama or stakes to what is happening. its like watching the matrix sequels. the action scenes are cool, but the rest of it is a muddled mess.
Shinsekai Yori is much closer to 8.5/10 or 10/10 region.
Definitely above a 6 or 7.
It's not the most enjoyable show to watch early, but it's consistently great once it starts rolling.
MC-kun in inou battle isn't that awkward since he at least understands the people around him.

What are you even talking about? No one ever should have expected it to be legit. It has sort of funny moments though, I laughed quite a bit in the most recent episode. But it has really terrible episodes and is weird as shit so I can't blame anyone for not watching it. :D

Worst anime that I expected to be good: Blade & Soul
Surprises: Amagi Brilliant Park (didn't expect it to be so fun), Shingeki no Bahamut, Barakamon (I went in expecting not much, but it was awesome)
Disappointed: Log Horizon 2, SAO 2

Yeah i saw the entire scene from youtube but it didn't have any eng sub. I couldn't undestand a thing besides from a few words i could recognize.

???? the first episode was really good and funny. there was no humour whatsoever after like episode 2, its like they didn't even bother. it could easily have been another moetan and given the excellent 1st episode it was a massive disappointment.

Well Trinity Seven is over. It was a solid adaptation and I am glad I caught it so I could be exposed to the source material. Too bad its a monthly. I would def like to see another season animated.

nope. I was growing to like her as the series went on. It's hard to dislike her lol but that just made her stand out even more ^^

After finishing episode 3, I couldn't get myself to watch more. It felt like the show was going to revolve around the MC doing that same move over and over with no regards to its repercussions lol.

What move? He honestly evolves his powers pretty well (even more so if you go to the source beyond where the anime ends). Though in all honesty its more about the diversity of stuff from the Trinity Seven more so then him. He is the catalyst for the events because of what he is and his personality but the girls are the actual stars of the show like in any harem.

Most people here who have consider it one of their best, if not the best, Gundam series. I've been pestered to watch it over and over. Kaze, Nagi, and Elem all love it, and Sent also thinks it's one of the best (not sure if THE best).

Don't watch Turn A if you haven't watched a significnt number of other Gundam shows. 100% serious. Elem marathoned like 100+ episodes of other Gundams to watch it.
