The sword finally coming out is nice though, that part turned out a bit better than I had expected.
Random surfing led me to bgms from Light's chuu2 series, now I want to reread a bunch of the games zz
this reminds me.... How come people say it's impossible to translate Dies Irae into english? is the kanji too archaic? I hear the main reason is that translating Masada's chuu2 text into english while still keeping it serious is impossible.
Is it really that hard to translate chuu2 text?

Not sure about this case but chuu2 text has little to no context in English, so it wouldn't make a ton of sense. It's like translate C code into English and try to make it make sense to someone who has no knowledge.

Tokyo ESP: + Show Spoiler +hmm in an episode, everything crumbled. Reminds me of the Xmen when the special forces went after them just cause. Can only guess she'll eventually find the resolve and get her powers back. Seeing as how there's only 3 episodes left (unless MAL auto assumed 1 cour), she'll have to get them next episode to save them the one after but 3 episodes to see the end. . Guessing there's more chapters that aren't going to be shown? Can anyone who reads the manga confirm please?

the intercharacter relationships in accel world are flabbergasting how did the author even expect the audience to accept this lmao

The MC and the butterfly girl? + Show Spoiler +That's the one i couldn't accept as he's like the biggest loser in the world and she's like the most popular/loved in the world, how is it possible she's so into him?

That one kinda make sense as she is obsessed with AW (and hinted lived decades if not hundreds of years in AW), so that she obsessed with someone with AW potential would not be the most random thing ever.
Some of the over dramatic stuff doesn't make sense though

The more I watch this show the more I just say to myself "well there is another similarity to xmen". It really is like they just took Xmen, made them espers instead of mutants and had all the characters be anime characters instead of western comic book characters.

+ Show Spoiler [Sword Art Online II Episode 10] +Not much happened, just the starting of Kirito and Sinon getting to know each other better. I wonder if after BoB (I don't think the anime ends in that? Although it might.) Asuna will join that world, lol. Last episode she already seemed to want to do that. Definitely seems like Kirito got another girl that likes him. :D

yea i guess thats true good point. How are you liking AW otherwise? I thought the overall concept was really cool and Im desperate for a full dive system like they have, that'd be awesome. and then the AW on top of their virtual world dive makes it even more cool to me...but i really hated silver crow for some reason.

I like it much more than SAO, Crow was annoying until end of Chrome Disaster arc (novelwise), but after that he isn't bad.

I know why you hate him. You hate him because hes a short fat antisocial midget who gets a harem. Thats why everyone who hates him, hates him.

To be fair, he acted really annoying until he finally decided to man up.

my complaint isn't that she actually likes him, I've seen couples irl that are just as 'mismatched'. I just find it ridiculously difficult to believe that she likes him for who he is - it just feels so disingenuine and contrived to me. I mean she falls in love with him in a span of a week simply because he can get + Show Spoiler +
if their relationship didn't develop so quickly and his features weren't so overly exaggerated, or if he had any redeeming personality traits I'd find this much easier to accept. but as it stands he's literally a whiny, cowardly obese dwarf lmao

Its been a while since I watched AW, but I don't think she was "in love" with him or anything at that point. Sure, friendly, maybe the beginning stages of a romance, but thats about it. But for all his personality defects, and all the harem bullshit, its all so easy to forgive with all the great mecha stuff in the anime.

This right here...whole thing is exactly what i was thinking. Also, it's not that i hate the MC, i like the little kid that gives his all in what hes good at. What i hate is the crow part. more accurately the AW avatar, i think its dumb.

by episode 4 she explicitly says 'ilu'
and yea I realize relationships are clearly not the focus of the show but still, at least make it believable
