The PLOT however is still going strong with no indication of slowing any time soon. lol. I dropped that shit a while back
It and Glasslip are just "background during League champ select" tier for me right now. I'm holding out on it because it's hilarious and cute idol with cute name is cute.
In other news, taking Japanese 101 at my community college lead to a funny moment today. Mom pointed to the counter and said, "oh, hey look, jenk-eye!" The name of the textbook is "genki"....

Glasslip still has enough of a draw but I just couldn't watch Rail Wars, too boring lol.

BigFan, curious, why do you feel the need to remind everyone that you don't like Rail Wars at every single opportunity you get?

SAO: + Show Spoiler +whelp, he finally tells her his story. Good therapy imo. lol at the horse part though it looked like he burned with horse if it wasn't for Kirito saying he jumped off the horse. Should be interesting to see how they end things with Death Gun and catch the guy in the end.

so i just binged watched the last half of clannad AS today....my god...the feels and the tears...haven't watched something so sad for a long time. even though i was warned about the sadness being ramped up, nothing prepared me for what was about to come. damn there were some powerful scenes

Sora no Otoshimono Final: Eternal My Master was pretty much what I thought it would be. Meh didn't do justice to the latter half of the manga. This is what happens when the anime rewrites shit so they decide it would be too much of a hassle to work back into the actual story so we get a movie instead of a third season that just focuses only on the comedy aspect. At least the cover art was awesome.

Just realized SAOII is 24 episodes on MAL. Not sure if that's confirmed or just some default though I think it would be 12 in that case. Well, more SAO can't possibly hurt lol

Not sure about that bolded part
and in the SnO manga it did have it all, but the anime wrote it to be "happier" and the latter half of the manga turns serious so several things were different. (not that the anime was bad, it was quite solid actually).
Still the angeloids are awesome, Ikaros especially.

I'm actually a bit more excited now since I thought it was finishing in 2-3 more episodes XD
ah I see, well, anime are known to do that kind of stuff. It's too bad but if it's not too bad and it was solid, all you can really ask for imo (since the rest won't get fixed to your liking lol).

Well you can ask for the studio to not be a cock tease and tell us they are making a third season before back tracking into a movie that mashes the entire 2nd half of the story into it.
This part of a review basically sums up my thoughts on the movie. + Show Spoiler + "The movie begins with Ikaros' dramatic climax from the second-to-last chapter. Immediately this is unsettling; there was no way they could fit the massive final arc and all of its setup into this 50 minute timeblock. The scene progresses, and ends approximately where the chapter does. It then cuts away to several months prior, a typical day at the Sakurai household. From this point to the penultimate scene, the film is nothing but random filler chapters meshed together to create a bastardization of the romantic progression between Ikaros and Tomoki. Chapters are placed where they don't belong for no rhyme or reason, important plot points are tweaked to move along this clusterfuck of a story, and the supporting cast is reduced to comic relief and pointless exposition. But this isn't even the worst offense. Consistently, the film teases all of the major plotlines. ALL of them! And what do we get from it? NOTHING!! Absolutely nothing, as if to say "All this cool stuff happened, but you don't get to see it." I may not speak for everyone, but I for one was offended by this. This movie's lack of care for the audience's appreciation of detail was insulting. In the end, Ikaros' dramatic climax concludes, and the movie ends... bitter, and incomplete."

The part of SAO that comes after GGO is the single worst part of SAO.

Just finished Genshiken Nidaime and the OVA. It was kind of weird that all of the VAs changed for this season. I first thought that the story would center more around Ogiue or Ohno in Nidaime but it turned out to be more of a Madarame thing with some Hato. There was the Comifest episode with Ogiue's middle school classmates showing up and the episode with Ohno trying to find a job. I thought the Madarame story was quite nice. The confession scene was done well IMO and Kasukabe actually saying there was a chance if Kousaka was not in the picture was pretty cool. I guess that sets up Spotted Flower manga from what I read on MAL. Hato is a pretty good trap as well. Kasukabe's character development(hue) throughout the series was nice. She wasn't so threatening as she was in the beginning of the series than at the end.
Overall Genshiken as a whole was really good. Nice story and great characters. Definitely one of my favorite shows now. Other than Madarame the season by season switching of the scope on different characters was a nice touch. The second half of the season had lots of Yaoi fantasizing too but it was all worth since Rika came into my life. Added her to Waifu list. 9/10 would watch again.
