I think they're trying to show it as a proof of concept that there are alternative means for anime producers to make stuff without the restrictions that traditional production committees put on them (catering to moe, harem shit, etc). I'm kind of skeptical though since it seems doubtful they can keep building this kind of funding hype for every single episode-let alone a season. | ||
