entertaining discussion though I enjoyed Relena's presence. She tried to strive for peace trying whatever way she can even though she can be a bit annoying at times. Having said that, I don't plan to compare her to anyone else ^^ | ||

First off, why does it have to be a "love interest"? Best girl doesn't have to be confined to "best main love interest of the MC". But if you simply want that, rather than Gundam girls in general (in which I could give you many upon which I think are better), then. Of those you mentioned, Relena is probaby better than like... Beltorchika and Quess. If you just want main love interests of the MC who I think are better, that you didn't name, Raine, Roux, and Mineva. Ragz had it about right, that Relena has all of Lacus' worst traits, and none of her good ones. I don't think shes anywhere close to "the worst girl ever", or even "worst girl in gundam" (since that would go to people like Nina Purpleton or Reccoa), but she definitely is pretty far from 2nd best girl. Is Wing the best show ever? It's not even the best Gundam. But it's not as shitty as people are making it out to be. Most anime fans are just so sick of hearing about popular/nostalgic shows that they just end up looking at their flaws and bitching about them any time they are brought up, even if they are enjoyable in other ways or were even once beloved by the very people that hate it now. But it's not really hipsterism, because past a certain point pretty much the entire anime community takes that mindset against whatever show it is and suddenly the show that got so much praise and acceptance when it first came out can only be enjoyed by people watching it for the first time, and any "long time" anime fan immediately scoffs at the mention of it. I kinda see what you mean not that I fully agree with the idea that everything old gets scoffed off  For what it's worth, I liked Wing and watched it more than any other anime atm even Toradora so ya lol | ||
