according to what I heard ecael talk about there are s3 books out already, because I'm pretty sure he said something along the lines of "Tsukihi is really good in s3 as well"
And some other stuff like that, so yeah there'll be an season 3, nothing official I've heard of though.

That aside, I enjoyed that it was more in-line with what we got from the manga, though Hyuuga and Iona was... Over-done I think. Releasing Iona from her monotony was good too. Admittedly it might seem out of place compared to the previous epiodes.
+ Show Spoiler +I'm really glad they broke Iona's monotony. She just felt way too stiff in comparison to Takao or heck, to even Haruna who was starting to display some emotions and such. The scene between her and Hyuuga was just too funny lol. ya, it seemed out of place but then Iona maintained her previous composure after kicking off Hyuuga lol

So I been watching a couple of shows over the last few days, maybe you guys have seen them can tell me what you think.
Special A: Was the first one I tried, looked funny and like it might have some romance stuff, obviously the latter doesn't show up until much later probably BUT it seems to me like it was mostly comedy. Like 90% comedy. Unless the show does a 180 or something later on after the #1 guy FINALLY confesses to the #2 girl then it will probably stay the same, too humorous for what I was looking for so I stopped at around 6th? episode. Was a good show just wasn't looking for so much comedy.
Lamune: Fucking loved this one, it was just wonderful. It was short so it didn't outstay its welcome, it was funny without being about the comedy, it was OVERLY cute (mostly due to probably the female lead, Nanami was just impossibly cute D: ). I loved all 12 episodes, I'm glad they didn't add more to it, I felt it ended perfectly and I really couldn't have asked for more. In some ways I wanted more episodes lol because I liked the show so much but I would never dare to think what they could add to such a great ending.
Amagami SS: I actually had my doubts about this one but after watching the first episode I was quite hooked. This show is odd though, it seems they wrote this like they were writing a VN with multiple endings and what not, there isn't one overarching storyline but several arcs where the MC sort of get's with every girl and every new arc resets to the beginning. I'm not really liking this to be honest. I mean it makes sure there is no drama by having love triangles and shit, but that's part of the fun D:. I guess they just went with the slice of life/romance/comedy approach and no drama which is fine I guess.
After the first 4 episodes which were AMAZING and you should totally watch if you want to laugh your ass off, I was laughing too much and maybe a tad too embarrassed for them as well lol had to pause a couple of times due to laughter. The first Arc which was with the first girl I will proceed to call Kissbehindtheknee-chan ( best to describe her than Moroshima Haruka  imo), was just the best character in the whole thing so far (I'm on the 4th arc), Sae and Kaoru don't even come close to match her awesomeness. Not just how crazy random she is but how she made Junichi act just by being with him, it was hilarious shit. It's seriously like she said "Top that, bitches", dropped the mic and got off the stage. How do you follow that? you can't. I would have been way happier if they made an entire show about her and Junichi, they were a couple of weirdos you just have to love them. Kind of disappointing to KNOW they can't outdo Kissbehindtheknee-chan, it's just impossible. Kaoru was bellybuttonkiss-chan and Sae she wasn't kissed in any odd places so BOOO!. Unless we get Elbowkiss-chan or Earkiss-chan then I can't see how they can top the first arc .

it's actually not out of place at all. All you've seen in that episode is taken 1:1 out of the manga. Everything like the kick and so on. If anything they probably made it a little less hilarious with Ionas face missing when she announced that she needs repairing done.

I'm about eight episodes into Cowboy Bebop and so far it has been basically episodic episodes and I'm not liking it that much. Does it get better later on?

Bebop does eventually develop an ongoing plot, although if you're not enjoying the individual episodes, I don't know if the later half is going to completely turn things around for you.

It does turn around, but that's what you get with pre-2000 animes, episodic with a general story. Same with Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo etc.

Everything is episodic except for five episodes (5,12,13,25,26) who deal with Spike's past, Vicious, Julia and the Red Dragon Syndicate
I'd say it does get better. I also had a hard time through the first episodes due to my expectations being too high

Log Horizon is coming along rather nicely, I didn't expect it to be this interesting.

It does a fairly good job of following the novel. A little deviation and reordering here and there but kept the story the same.

Eh doing the zone thing so late and telegraphing it makes that whole affair pretty boring and makes the early vols even worse. Considering how quality of the source is inconsistent, they'd need to do better to make this good.

It is more about the various characters and their backgrounds than an actual storyline. There is some stuff that spans multiple episodes but it never really develops a storyline that spans the rest of the series.
