I also asked a couple of people if I could take their pictures and they looked shocked that I would even ask that. Not everyone was like this, but still

Was so excited to see netflix add one new anime after such a long time of well having reduced the streaming selection. And they added Fairy Tail. I read most of the manga so I was pretty excited to finally watch it!

ENGLISH gets tl notes. "Translations." Too bad there aren't any alternative subs I could find.

Apparently there was an anime con a little bit ago near me. I feel like I miss every anime, comic, and general con that comes to Chicago cuz I don't know the dates until they're over

I remember one anime where one of the characters was serving some kind of soup and the translator felt it was a good time to print out detailed information about the soup; why it was made on that particular day, what the name of the soup was in English and in Japanese along with ingredients and why it was an important soup for Japanese tradition.
It was one of the biggest "WTF" moments ever for me when it comes to anime watching and fan-made subbing.

+ Show Spoiler [railgun] +More cute faces, more saten shenanigans, more girls doing girl stuff, a pretty emotional scene. overall a pretty nice episode, but I think just from watching the first scene and the opening the entire plot is already clear

Oh right, they just went straight to Kabukimonogatari, makes sense I guess. Also reminded me that Hayamin's role isn't just Haqua.
Oooh Mizuhashi Kaori for Ougi~

so I started reading Kizumonogatari because people said you should read it with it being left out so far; like a week ago or so. Suprisingly enough I start to, let's put it this way, not dislike Hanekawa anymore.

Why do people dislike Hanekawa to begin with? Ok to be honest she's probably my least favourite female character of the series, but she's probably the one with greatest depth/potential.
Kizu was a fun read and made me enjoy Shinobu's parts a lot more in Nisei.

I haven't finished Kizu yet but it does make a lot more sense already. Before that she just was this annoying girl to me that hardly fit in there with her actions/interactions with Araragi. She's giving me a more sympathetic vibe in Kizu so far as well.
I guess not knowing the beginning really makes it tough to like her?
