I did say my top 10 was not up to date and I also said this list is only recorded by chronological order at the time I decided to start keeping it, hence why the list is not large and why the top 10 is incredibly limited by anime release dates. Hopefully that helps some people who couldn't use basic reasoning to come to a similar conclusion.. as a lot of you apparently couldn't... My judgement on guilty crown: if you could not tell due to rankings on other shows a big thing I don't like is "unreasonable" response. This is a pretty vague comment to make but essentially what I mean by this is if the characters do not respond or progress in a "humanistic way" I don't like the show too much. Again this is subjective, but personally, I find self-identity in shows to be a great concept worth exploration and study. I think it fits nicely with the 4 main themes you generally see in anime whether it be endurance, purity, team work, or self sacrifice and how a character realistically responds to their environment. I like to apply my course study to shows and if I cannot make a valid connection it hurts the rating I give it. We all have a bias connected to how we rate our shows. I just found guilty crown to be a good example of the aforementioned. Spoiler on the show: + Show Spoiler + If you want me to be frank, I didn't like the "twist" at the end at all. But to me that doesn't matter as much In any case my real objective posting here was more to spread the interest of a communal effort for the Psycho-Pass wiki page I mentioned. I'm sure others out there lurk these forums and may have been interested by it. Whether they post or not I like to propose fun ideas such as that one. Hopefully it's something that picks up some progress once the show has finished. I'm not here to argue about anything! :D I just offered some basic insight so hopefully one or two people found it helpful/worth their time.

Eh well if you wanted to take this seriously it would be just as dedicated to refuse to watch other anime or at least pretend you've never seen any other anime even if you read manga/LN/VNs too.

I'm actually just really lazy and hate 1-10 rating scales so I will never have a MAL with real entries.

But to me that doesn't matter as much But the problem is that there are a ton of other anime that already do that, and whose second half isn't also an ass-pull abortion. I'm principle I agree that "realistic" responses by characters in their self-identity/coming of age story is good (although I don't think its necessarily a requirement, dependingon the anime). Back when it was airing, I likened Shoe's setup and development (at least in the first half) to a standard Amuro-type protagonist (which is his, despite what people who are wrong might believe), which IMO is a good thing (even if extremely common). Its just in the second half, rather than doing anything interesting/good with the themes, plot, characters, and settings they built up, they turned Shoe into Adolf Hitler, and then into Emiya Shirou.

nvm ended up going through it since there were only 4 chapters anyway I'm nothing like an expert on their biographies but I'm pretty sure there's a lot of uh artistic license with their life stories (not talking about the idiosyncracies or the obviously made-up stuff) ![]()

I really wish they'd stop parading the fact that Akane is similar to Makishima. You've already given us enough hints, thanks. Next time on Pyscho-Pass: I can't wait -_-

(Don't want to critisize it, i am just interested.) My thoughts to the running Season from worst to best: Don't Watch: Tamako Market: A big disappointment and very boring. Maoyuu Maou Yuusha: Has nothing really interesting and stupid characters. Sakurasou: Startet bad, got more interesting in the middle part but became very boring in the end. Watch maybe: Vividred Operation: Basically Strike Witches with (simple version of) NGE story. Very good animations, nice fanservice, senseless story. Robotics;Notes: Veeeery slow paced, the characters, setting and animation are all good - very good, but in the most episodes simply nothing happens. Boku ha tomodachi 2: If you liked the first season or are interested in comedy harem it is good. I like it, but probably not too many will think the same. Bakumatsu: Strange anime, sometimes entertaining, but i dislike the style and the setting. Zettai Karen Children - unlimited: For fans of Esper based series okay, i guess, nothing extraordanary, but solid action. Hakkenden: If you don't mind the shoujou setting (which isn't too extreme) a suprisingly solid and interesting anime. Love Live: The biggest suprise of the Season, suprisingly entertaining considering the story and setting. Kotoura-san: Very entertaining, i like the female and male main characters very much, furthermore i like the fact that there is some drama in this comedy anime. Watch: Shinsekai Yori: Very good atmosphere and an interesting story line. Zetsuen no Tempest: Even better atmosphere, perfect soundtrack, has many quotation of Shakespear and characters who DO something (probably the biggest problem of most story centered animes). Chihayafuru 2: If there had not been a first season this would cleary be the biggest suprise of the season, i didn't expect much when i began watching the first season and got nearly a masterpiece. I don't know how they do it, but the "karuta" battles in this anime are more entertaining and exciting than the most action scenes and the characters are very well structured. List: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/morufi Has anyone a good Sci-Fi / Space Opera recommendation for me? If possible without mechs.
