This season, I dropped everything that I didn't like (contrary to before when I basically watched everything, because of too much time on my hands :D). Remains, in increasing order of preference, Kotoura, Zetsuen, Chihayafuru, Shinsekai, Psycho-Pass.

Wait so you gave an anime a 1 because of its manga?
WTF, how does that even make sense?

Edit: I feel like I need to explain myself a bit more. Obviously the anime of Usagi Drop isn't intrinsically worth a 1. But I felt such overwhelming disappointment and deception when I finished reading the manga that it tainted my memory of the anime forever and made me rate it even worse than the worst of what I ever watched. 1 is probably a bit of an exaggeration though, gotta admit. But it's My Anime List, I do what I want :p

I don't think there is this sort of "lolwut?" realisation in Genji monogatari.

I agree, it's rare when as many as nine main charactors equally well featured in just one season, and also every one is well charactorized. Plot is simple but not dull at all.

Also, rabu raibu so good. Second best from winter season imo after puchimas.

I agree that Love Life is very nice, one of the better shows this season.

Never seen usagi drop, but heard of it a lot and just never got around to trying it yet Chihayafuru is great, prepare for some more bawwing. S2 is AOTS as expected.
I can see why people would dislike Tamako (personally, I like it) or MMY, but you should give R;N a try, it's actually quite good and picks up the pace in the second half, similar to S;G. I'd probably put it in my top3 for fall season, along with SSY and PP.

wait what happens in usagi drop that goes wrong?

It was on my todo list but some big twist at end or wat? You're probably better off not knowing. They are refering to something that happens later on in the manga, the anime didn't adapt that part.

Love Live is so good. You guys should probably watch it and pick up some tips on friendship, so TLADT can be one big happy friendship family

Zetsuen no Tempest: Even better atmosphere, perfect soundtrack, has many quotation of Shakespear and characters who DO something (probably the biggest problem of most story centered animes). Too lazy to quote whoever it is from last page properly but...quoting from Shakespeare? If you like Shakespeare you should avoid it because it butchers whatever bullshit connection it was supposed to have with the Tempest. If you don't like Shakespeare you should avoid it because characters throw out meaningless quotes. Even Madoka's invocation of Faust was better than this, and that went literally nowhere. Characters that do something? What? Nothing happens in what can be regarded more Code Geass s2 than the actual thing.

Vandread is pretty fun, not exactly a space opera though

I still don't know why "Vividred is like Strike Witches with X" is such a common comparison. What, exactly, is similar with those two anime, beyond both being magical girl anime? Strike Witches was about machine-gun wielding magical girls who don't wear pants, fighting WW2 against Aliens, with WW2 jets strapped to their legs, and occasionally stole each others underwear. Which parts of that sounds like Vividred to you people? They both have a good deal of fanservice, but so did stuff like Nanoha lol
