Chihayafuru - Thoughts on Chihaya, Taichi, and Arata's relationship: + Show Spoiler +At first I didnt make much of the whole love triangle thing (I didnt even think there was one). All that was obvious, was that Taichi was in love with Chihaya. But after rewatching season 1 and some new content from season 2. Im starting to realize how subtle and significant the clues to their relationships were. Season 1 - Episode 9-10 ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/f1USVns.jpg) Arata sends a birthday text to Chihaya via Taichi. Why? I never made much of this, nor did I care. But now I finally caught what Taichi meant this time around. There was like a mutual-unspoken agreement between the two with where they both stand with Chihaya. Season 1 - Episode 11 ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/IqH0e3L.jpg) In this particular scene, it can be quite ambiguous as to why Chihaya blushed. At first reaction I was like, "Shes always like this when it comes to competitive Karuta, so kawaii-desu~". But why did Sudo make the mention that he thinks she fell for him? Comedic effect on his part? I think there is something more to that. I think that its a hint that Chihaya could have some sort of Karuta complexity towards Arata. Which could be construed as her being in love with him. Season 2 - Episode 4 ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/bEI8ujn.jpg) Ahh, the towel scene... Such a short-lived-blissful moment where Chihaya, too proved, that she also pays attention to Taichi. And Taichi's expression says it all. The new girl makes this easy to interpret that Chihaya is also looking towards Taichi, whether it be consciously or subconsciously (I believe it to be the latter). And that she should be on her guard.

But I guess you can only fit that much in a movie. The movie also had its WTF moments... You should read the book. Better than both the movie and manga.

As long as your find with a really....odd ending, then it's decent. Not great, but depending on what you like could be worth the watch.

You might want to read the final chapter of the manga for a better explanation
Or wait right until the end for a bad explanation
Kudos if you figure out what's going on with her prior to it being explained took me forever to pick up on the hints

Found a fun generator thinger: http://en.genzu.net/robot/
Put a name in, and it generates robot/stats.

It doesn't look like I'm that impressive of a robot... I'm also kind.
It can do Gattais too:

Just started re-watching Duel Masters, am I watching an abridged version or does the show just take itself extremely unserious?

Takemikazuchi is some incredibly weak mecha according to that, I call fraud.
By the way, I've been playing Rewrite a ton these past 4 days and after over 50 hours I'm not even close to the end. After the relatively slow beginning it's been incredibly amazing, while surprisingly having some of the same concepts I've been playing with in my own stories. *Steals some things*

Well I just hope they don't go all shutter island or lost on us xD. The feelings that I held towards Deadman's wonderland resemble the ones that I'm experiencing now. it's something on the long the lines of I really like this concept and the source where it was derived from, but I didn't like where the series was going after the first few episodes. Although its not as strong as it was in DW I literally wanted to slash one of my arteries after a 12 yr old was imprisoned for mass murder, but the core concept was amazing, but it sadly got ruined by poor execution.
I hope I didn't make to many typos if I'll blame my stupid smartphone for being annoying to type on.

Finished watching OreImo. I liked it. I couldn't find much to complain about, a part from "holy shit, the amount of tsundere is killing me," but then again, I feel as if that was the entire point to the anime. It was a lot of fun, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next season.

Tsundere? What are you talking about, that one dere scene? She's pretty much full on Tsun at this point. Read the LNs.

Most people watch OreImo for Kuroneko anyway

The point of oreimo is to be a harem with thinly veiled imouto incest, because that shit sells like hotcakes.

Well, shit, I'm sold.
Haha, in all seriousness, I'm not typically a guy to like stuff like this, but OreImo was strangely appealing. The brother-sister interaction between Kirino and Kyousuke was really entertaining, just because it reminded me a lot of my own interactions with my sister (minus the really thinly veiled incest...and eroge...).

I happened to come across it on YT so I'm wondering if I should watch it (12 episodes) or finally start watching SAO (which apparently is very good? o_O) Another is a great comedy. SAO is a great action/drama/romance/mystery/adventure/psychological/deep/dark/pretentious/comedy/sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural story. It excels at everything! + Show Spoiler +You're better off watching neither of them, though at the very least SAO is a fun watch because it has some nice animation and fight scenes + Yuki Kajiura, though I'd argue that Kajiura's tracks in this anime were pretty subpar and lacking. Well Kajiura said at AX that she writes the music based off like rough scripts of the scenes so she probably looked at them and was confused by how bad the writing was so the music was subpar as a result.
Probably true, heh. I went ahead and downloaded the OST (iirc only the first out of two cds, but w/e) and after going through the ~33 tracks I can say that about 4-5 were good/great, like 2 feel extremely close to some F/Z tracks and that the rest are basically decent, at best. Oh well, nothing can top the Kara no Kyoukai OST anyway.
edit:
I'll find OreImo mildly entertaining as long as it doesn't go full on blatant incest on me.

OreImo made me rage hard.

Kirino was a huge bitch and MC didn't mind being treated like shit for the majority of the series. And Ayase turned out to be a bitch too.

I'm just waiting to see if author decides to go full incest mode and end up with her winning or do the better route and let Kuroneko win. Or troll us all and end it harem end.
