The difference in animation and art is just silly. Hopefully the new arc will be good Just want to ask anyone in here. I have seen Naruto/Bleach and i loved them both. Do anyone have any suggestions of which Anime i should watch next if i like Naruto kind of animes? If you liked Naruto and Bleach, I personally can't stand them :"), you will absolutely love HxH and One Piece. If not, you have no taste :p I'm not a big fan of HxH. I really don't see the appeal. I loved HxH up until Greed Island, which is OK, but afterward it just jumps the shark Kept going because my unending love for Yu Yu Hakusho, then Togashi made it easy for me I'd probably say the Yorknew arc is where I started disliking it, but yeah, for a while it was pretty good.
In my view HxH is not even about the specifics of the story. You basically know what is going to happen over the course of 100 episodes after the first 10. Yorknew and Greed Island are as good as any other device for resolving the red eyes conflict and finding Gon's father.
The major strength of HxH is how likable every single character is. Even in the best animes out there, I always find myself far more drawn to one or two characters which keeps me watching. This is especially true for longer shows like OP or FT. HxH is probably the only anime I have ever watched where I need to reach far into the secondary cast to find a character I don't like.

You definitely should read Yu Yu Hakusho manga then. There is basically no bad character. The anime is pretty good but also very dated

Chuuni
Actual story! I'm impressed!

I discovered this manga earlier, and it was great:
Gundam Sousei
It is an epic manga about the creation of the original Gundam, staring Tomino the Badass. Hilarious stuff. And while the manga is fiction, the general events that happen in the manga actually happened. Also includes stuff about other things he did, like Ideon: + Show Spoiler +

Gundam Sousei was hilarious, epic anime creation that makes actual mecha look boring in comparison.

Chuuni 7
+ Show Spoiler + It seems like all the things that lead up to this point was just introducing characters and background. Now that it all set in stone, it seems the real plot will develop! Series probably going to end with her accepting reality.
Seitokai No Ichizon 4 also had plot development! It seems they are straying away from the manga but it getting good!
Edit: nvm, it just seems to be going faster than manga and following the Light Novel. Manga must just be for the comedy and no real plot

Just finished Gundam Sousei. Quick, enjoyable read. I got chills when all the fans at the festival started having newtype flashes.

To be honest, it's like neither. All I can say is that it's quite slow to start (for people who watch it for the first time). But once you get past a few episodes or get used to the art style (at the start anyway) you will fall in love with it.
I admit when I first watched it, I literally had to sit there and force myself thinking wtf is this crap. But I had lived in Japan for 2 months then (was like 17 xD) and was wondering wtf everyone was going nuts over One Piece. I just wanted to find out.
1 month and ~450 episodes later, I found out why.
I am actually planning on re-watching the whole thing. It's just a bitch to find all the episodes. But seriously, most amazing anime ever. Don't care what anyone says.

Arcs went something like East Blue (highlighted by the Arlong Arc)->Baroque Works (Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, Drum, Alabasta)->Skypeia->Davy Back->Water 7, and so on (not gonna list them all). Usopp's arc in the beginning is a bit dull, Sanji's too, but Arlong and Loguetown were good. The entire Baroque Works arc was good. Skypeia was good although dragged a bit in the middle. loldavy back. Water 7 and onwards are all good. Well they kinda' had to do some character dev for the main characters. Otherwise it'd turn into a Bleach/Fairy Tail where you have so many characters but don't really give two shits except your favorite one. But I do admit they were dull also. I just tell people I recommended One Piece to wait until after the Crocodile Arc for them to either keep going or drop it (by then they usually just go on after having watched 200+ eps). Yeah, of course they do. Character development is good. Its just, unfortunately the intro story concerning Usopp isn't very compelling. Sanji's has parts that is okay, parts that dragged, its been a while, IDK. But telling people to wait until after Baroque Works is a long time/alot to watch for someone to give it a try. If someone doesn't like One Piece after they watch the Arlong Arc, then thats when you can start dismissing their opinion imo. Because everything that happens after the Arlong Arc is good.
Not going to lie, I fucking hated Ussop for literally the entire One Piece season until Water 7.
Personally for me it took me until after Alabasta arc to actually start enjoying it. But as I just said to the other quote, I can literally go bad and almost cry at how good it is.
I'm such a OP fanboy. :D
