 Seitokai is freaking hilarious, references are everywhere, not to mention nonstop wall breaking. It isn't confined to just KyoAni, but they did have a good amount of stuff tagged in for more recent things. I am going to read the light novels just to see how the hell they handled humor in print. Darker than Black 2...don't disappoint please. | ||

I am thoroughly impressed by how amazingly good Bakemonogatari is, even after having high expectations after reading praise about it. edit - rereading this I seriously realize the lack of eloquence in my writing habits. this is probably the best series i've watched in a long time and i've seen a lot of good series recently. since i can't really get it across with good writing, it's really fucking good and everyone should watch it - /edit And since I tend to try to condense all my short ramblings on anime to single posts;... Rewatched Darker Then Black, awesome as usual, watched the first episode of the new season - + Show Spoiler + It looks good, but honestly, I'm not sold yet. The first episode seemed to progress really slowly - but ideally, by the time the series is finished and I rewatch it, it'll feel like the pacing is perfect. We'll see? :x Picked up Seitokai no Ichizon, pretty worth watching if you've got the time imo - not much else to say about it, I like it so far though. Toaru Kagaku no Railgun - + Show Spoiler + This isn't spoilerworthy. But it's progressing so slowly, and I don't even know what it's progressing towards due to a lack of reading the manga (or novels, or whatever) - so I don't really think it's high quality yet, but who cares, Kuroko is completely hilarious, and Misaka is kawaii, and I guess those were the only expectations I had anyways. :0 This thread sure slowed down in the past few days, since it's the only one I check regularly (multiple times daily cause I am apparently a ridiculous TL lurker or something) - quite easy to see the post speed in it drop ._. | ||

Bakemonogatari, the first show since Rakkyo that had me dishing out money for DVDs. At a horrible time like this.  DtB season 2 is...well, odd. It is a good thing they got rid of all that mahou shoujo in school air that pervaded the trailers in the first episode, but we are as much in the vogue as we were in the first season. Besides, I don't see Yin in the first episode, complete fail. Seitokai, see above. Railgun's progression should basically lead up to the third storyline of Index, with a bit of Misaka's own adventures tossed in. How much we'll see though depends, it might just decide to follow the manga closely. I think the thread post speed dropped because Kona has been posting so little. | ||

I had snapped to a point that I was quite satisfied by the ending. >.< My favorite character in that show was Setsuna, and she got the hell out several episodes before the end, so whatever :l Nice boat is nice boat I guess And yeah, where is Yin? o_O edit - Ah and it seems the second episode of Seitokai no Ichizon is out. If this one also ends up funny (without burning out, as I sort of expected it to judging by how epicly the first episode opened), then it's -definitely- worth watching haha. | ||

As for School Days, it might be good to note that Makoto was like that in the game, apparently. Every obvious choice you make, he will fuck it up one way or another. Somehow. + Show Spoiler + You don't usually see scenario writers giving someone a perfect situation just to have it all wasted away | ||

School Days and the creators could've made it a good series but failed. The black blood was hilarious and somewhat fun to bash with my friends.
