I love naruto but even that sucked up till about ep15-20 with the battle w/ zabuza. Time to dedicate some time to one piece! Bleach has me hooked already though, and i watched that right after one piece, just watched a 2nd ep over dinner. Lets see if my wife will dedicate our night time programs to one piece :D | ||

Nothing compares to that one One Piece arc in Marineford though. Not gonna tell you more, you go watch that! Actually read the manga, it's WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY better then the recent anime. Anime quality in general has been going down except for some really well done ones like Nurarihyon no Mago. | ||

Funny, i didn't like it at first because of the art of the manga, but it grows on you as you watch the anime. Also, i agree that the quality of the manga is leaps and bounds over the anime, but the anime is not bad either, some of the fights on the anime are actually, quite sick to watch. For whatever reason though, i also notice a huge hit on the quality of the drawings right at end of the shabondi archipielago arc, it still makes me wonder why. | ||

Marineford spoilers: + Show Spoiler + Take Whitebeard's fight vs Akainu for example. They didn't use ANY of the manga drawings but used their own. Which is bound to be worse in quality because nobody draws One Piece better than Oda himself. | ||

1st thing is Smoker. Before time skip he used to defeat Luffy numerous times. I noe he is smoke, but he can keep up with his Gear 2nd speed. So he is improving on pace with luffy and still a way ahead. Then, 2 years time skip. I lost that feeling  . I can feel he is still strong, I noe Vergo is strong, Doflamingo is strong..But see smoker get trash is sad to see . .. Maybe that is for the aikoiji entrance haha. I noe Ace used to fight draw with Jimbei, and also able to deflect Aikoiji attack. That fire and ice (Ace vs Aikoiji) lil fight really make him look like the 2nd division whitebeard division, where like Marco and Jozu, able to stand off against an admiral  What about Ace vs Doflamingo . . . I wonder . . Nvm, need to sleep. Maybe will dream of a result. | ||

The backstories of zoro, sanji and nami are super. | ||

I´m okay with him having a hard time right now because I don´t think he´s meant to be the real archenemy of Luffy. Smoker&Crew has been silent sympathiser of the Straw-Hat-Pirates since Alabasta, and he doesn´t need to be as strong as Luffy to fill that role. I wonder if Coby has gotten somewhere with his Haki. Since Marineford (and City 7 before that) they´ve been setting him up as potential rival to Luffy, similar to the relationship between Roger and Garp, equally matched friends on different sides of the conflict. It depends on if Coby has been gotten strong enough during the last 2 years. | ||

Aokiji! I really don't like Smoker getting one-shot. It serves to make Kuzan's entrance more brotastic but still... I'm expecting Smoker to disappear for a while now and receive a powerup. It's not like doflamingo is a light weight exactly, losing to him doesnt mean much. I mean, Vergo got one shotted by Law :p | ||
