If it was haki then it would of been called haki.

Almost everyone agrees Rokushiki isn't Haki so why are we debating about it?

Guys, I know namecalling is rude and frowned upon, but could we not collectively stop arguing with Forikorder in the future?
It´s cringeworthy to read this thread everytime it happens.
An argument about Haki=Rokushiki, seriously? Rokushiki allows one to fly. Haki users can´t fly by power of Haki.

Actually on another topic, could it be that Law uses sword techniques like Mihawk and Zoro in combination with his df power?
We´ve at least seen Mihawk doing that sort of flying cuts were he cleaves distant obejcts in two. If I remember correctly he did so last at the Marine HQ fight.
The effect and range of his cut is similar to those sword techniqes, but Vergo is clearly still alive just as he would be after use of Laws df power.
Cutting the entire mountain in half is a huge powerjump for his df power, if you ask me. So you think there could be something unexplained about that, or no?

All he really did is increase the size of his "room" to be the size of the mountain. While it is a pretty massive power-up (more-so because his ability is already pretty damn powerful), it's completely within the realm of being possible with his devil fruit alone. I think the sword just helps with his concentration of how to cut the room.

I think what Smoker did for Law was actually buy time for him to "charge up" his room. As Vergo said, if you don't give Law the chance to bild up the room, you basically nullify his DF ability (At least this is what I remember everytime he pressed on Law's heart). So I agree that the battle with Smoker and Vergo allowed Law to enlarge his room to that of the whole mountain and a little beyond that. But it is not really an ability that can be used in battle unless you have that time to charge up your power. Smoker basically served as Vegeta against kid Buu while Goku-Law charged up genkidama to make it big enough that Vergo had nowhere to run. hehe!

Also, re Forik. Yeah, kind of tired of even bothering to reply to someone who just doesn't get it Unless he is actually Oda, he is pretty much just showing how much he is making an A.S.S. of himself by ASSuming too much. But hey, if he is right then Bruce Lee and that guy that pierces coconuts must have Haki as well. Hooray for the real world martial artists!!! (I'm joking here if someone doesn't get it)

Pretty sure all Smoker did was get back Law's heart, which enabled him to make the room as big as he made it. It's entirely possible not having his heart greatly reduced his ability to use his devil fruit, or that he simply didn't want to risk being seen as a large threat while they still had it.

Yeah i think smoker did it instead of actually fighting just because he hates being in debt, and the only reason law didnt fight until then was he promised smoker that he would let him fight vergo till the end and didnt want to break his word, cause his word is law (hueheuheuheuheuue)

I'm curious as to how luffy's body would react to shino kuni's poison. Won't be surprised if he could just haki through everything and escape the island

Maybe Oda would say that rubber is a nonporous/absorbent material thus gas won't work on his unless he actually breathes it in?

But then again, Magellan's poison seeped into Luffy's body so I'm not too sure as to the limitation of the gomu gomu fruit in terms of how it alters the body. =)

Ya he's gained a natural resistance to deadly poison from living from impel down. Doubt it has anything to do with his body.

I was wondering, if non-DF users simply get a seastone weapon/projectiles, then wouldn't they be more powerful than DF users in any single way since seastone not only prevents them from using their abilities but also weakens them a lot (ie Luffy can't even scream). They wouldn't even need haki to deal with logia type DF users

Seastone is supposed to be extremely rare if memory serves, as it is also stronger than steel it would be used more commonly as everyday stuff if it was common.

Devil fruits are supposed to be rare too, but seems like almost everybody are DF users

Everyone important maybe, and their devil fruit makes them more important. On the entire island with well over a hundred people right now, there are like 8 devil fruit users

I'm also quite curious about the development of momonosuke, I'm sure oda could port over all those fancy dragon powers from the chinese myths somehow

Then everyone important should be able to wield seastone weapons. All the criminals in Impel Down are locked by seastone, so the marines should not have a shortage of seastone. Non-DF users such as Garp and non-Haki users alike should be able to dominate DF pirates using seastone, destroying their ships to force them into the sea and other means

Maybe they decided since the main force of the marines is devil fruit type they dont want to use seastone cause they could turn on the higher ups or something? It may just be a plot hole but it still pales with bleach (lol kubo)

Smoker's weapon is seastone but it was snapped in half by both boa and vergo. I'm gonna guess that against powerful pirates they aren't really much more effective, so maybe the cost isn't worth it.

Why use expensive Seastone when you can use Haki?
