I don't think it's a man who ate a fruit since he hasn't used any transformation powers in any of the scenes we've seen him in. There are a whole bunch of mythological beasts in Wano so I think he's a native animal that just developed human characteristics, like that one star fish that became bipedal through force of will. ![[image loading]](https://i.imgur.com/EUkaw6D.jpg) | ||
