I assume it'll be explained eventually in this arc. Probably involves putting lots and lots of Haki in it if I had to guess. Basically you us the advanced busoshoku haki and instead of imbuing your hands you imbue the sword. In wano this is called ryuo. Over time, through this process, the blade gets permanently imbued with the haki and becomes a black blade... so, basically, all the best swords are swords that went through this process...basically, zoro can turn wado ichimonji and enma into supreme grade swords... and i wonder if the old geezer will give him nidai kitetsu to make a full complement of great grade swords that will become supreme grade swords... interesting tho that oden never achieved a black blade... and i wonder why shusui is not considered a supreme grade... | ||

Great chapter overall. Can't see Sabo dying off screen, but I could see Vivi dead. She's just important enough to prompt a reaction from the SHs and not important enough to play a huge role going forward. | ||

And I believe BB was talking about taking Sabo's devil fruit since the chapter was implying that the news was claiming Sabo's death. This chapter was pretty hype. | ||

I liked that Drake was finally revealed to still be with the Marines. I've thought it for a long time. At the end of Wano arc, he's going to be given credit by the Marines for defeating Kaido and opening Wano up to the rest of the world. Much like how Smoker was given credit for Alabasta. In turn Luffy will have another tentative ally in the Marines. | ||
