such a beautiful chapter...so political, so mysterious, such a great follow up....could not believe it, the reveals, etc, it is nuts. Tokyo ghoul ending in 3 chapters, this is like literally the only top manga that comes out weekly... On another note, praises aside. So many questions..... 1. Who's other straw hat is that? 2. Why in the pictures is blackbeard and strawhat cut up, but the princess unscathed? we know, strawhats are alive...we do not know the outcome of blackbeard and it's looking grim. 3. Bonney....the last i saw of bonney was a prisoner of blackbeard....or am i not up to date? now we see her revealing her transformation powers to what i assume is her fruit. 4. no words for the wool that they pulled over the worlds eyes with the 5 elders, and this lm queen...chose to work in the dark...is she a figurehead that is steering the chaos? or is she powerful because we see swords by the thrones? this is some Madara level reveal, both intellect, powerful, and in the dark. 5. Kuma being a symbol for a king that allied but disagreed with their views is now an example of what happens...and no other king seems to be aware of this....those 50 kings at the table...you are in for it....how exactly is he alive after experimentation, being tortured for fun on a leash for who knows how long? 6. Are the marines being duped for their actions or are they aware of the behavior of celestials? for individuals who represent justice...this really flips the script on who is the bad guy and who isn't.... 7. CPO clearly shown being puppets to any form of their law an order.... 8. Revolutionary army making moves immediately....that just removed all my disdain from the previous chapter.... 9. Luffy catching the attention of all the world...to the extent his fate is looking like gold rogers....without imo the strength of gold rogers. but who knew how strong he was.... 10. who does shank know...and ugh this dude got some connections.... i'm sure i missed more but whoa....one of the best chapters in a while. so much content and oda showing once again story telling doesn't have to rely on deaths or what the current day expectations are. Oda also donated 8 million to an earth quake relief place...and gets a luffy bronze statue...that's pretty rad. LOL

The Gorosei are public figures to some extent so I doubt they're immortal, though admittedly they have't changed much if at all since Ohara.

How voluntary, and what exactly happened to him, and his past, is also a mystery. There does seem to be a fair bit of inconsistency. Apparently, Kuma was a king before he joined the revolutionaries... so this leads me to believe that he was stripped of hist title or something. Maybe defying the world nobles? So then he ended up with Dragon's squad. Here's the thing though - why did he become a Shichibukai? To infiltrate the government? And then why would he voluntarily become a cyborg? Was it a punishment? Was it some kind of negotiation tactic like "if I do this you do this"? But here's the thing... why would he THEN accept to be mind-wiped and be thrown out of the Shichibukai and become a simple slave to the World Nobles? There is so much weird shit going on with Kuma because it seems like he actively chose his fate when all he had to do was simply leave. Doesn't make all that much sense, IMO, so I hope Oda can explain it.

It's not just that I'm taken aback and surprised by the fact that he was a king previously, it's that I can't really understand where and how does that fit with the fact that he was a pirate who became a Shichibukai (or was enlisted?) who also was during that time (?) or before (?) a revolutionary that apparently WG knew about (? -- since that is why he is being made an example of isn't it?) and then he voluntarily (?) agreed to become a Pacifista (?) for the WG while still apparently being Kuma enough to serve as an example for other kings (?) and now wanting to be freed by Sabo and co. It feels like there's a contradiction in a number of these elements so I too hope to get to know more about it before we go to Wano.
