Aizen's not dead. He's imprisoned. I agree that ending the series with Aizen Arc would've been best seeing as Ichigo lost his powers, etc. I really wonder where hes going to go with this from here...

Not surprised that this wasn't the end, there were numerous sources claiming the author said there is going to be another arc. It almost seems like a restart of the series instead of a new arc. I'm sure Ichigo is going to get new powers though I doubt it will be the same shinigami powers he had before. Anyways a slow start and a boring chapter imo because the other chracters of Bleach were never really that important, but yeah willing to give it a chance.

im still waiting to find out what ichigo actually is (the son of ???). there was an attempt at explaining it when he spoke with his dad, but i think urahara butted in or something, i dont remember it exactly. there are still things to be answered, and im not talking about plot holes.

Would be interesting if Ichigo regained his spiritual power only and not Shinigami powers. I mean he can still fight, so maybe if he'll develop powers that is equivalent to his old powers (in terms of strength) this will become interesting.

if only bleach had some decent time flow or continuity. If you actually think about it, it's like this. Ichigo goes to heuco mundo. Like at most one week of bleach time passes (which is like 2 years and tons of chapters for us) and he fights grimjow, ulqiorra, and then comes back and fights aizen, gets raped, then suddenly transforms. All this is like three days wtf?

But yeah im glad all that shit is done with hopefully this will be a new and better start.

Man, that chapter was a short blink of what I once loved about Bleach.

Then Aizen appeared again... Well, at least there is a bit tension and mystery now and not just 4 years waiting for Ichigo to beat up Aizen and get the lesser fights over. I just hope it won't become a clusterfuck like last time.

No we knew it, or at least I knew they were continuing it, its just that at the end of the chaptert 2 seasons ago I was expecting "END" or "SERIES FINALE NEXT CHAPTER" when I saw the hiatus I was extremely dissapoint. I'm even more dissapoint right now I don't even know how to express it, i just hope that this arc is super amazingly good and not super duper cheesy. Just some random people are like "oh we lost our shinigami powers too, here's how you get them back" "oops by giving you these powers we released Aizen, WHAT A MISTAKE"

AT first I thought it was Aizen because their eyes looked so similar. I won't get my hopes up because i'm sure something will happen that will screw bleach again.

it definitely isn't undeserved, and I am definitely one of its harshest critics

but I think it's looking up now; they can finally do something new instead of the ridiculous DBZ race for super saiyan 1983539.

I'm really hoping Ichigo doesn't regain his powers and Karin becomes the new main character. It would be like a power level reset switch. If Ichigo comes back with all his powers, it will be like the silliness of this arc that we just saw. All of the captains become as strong as Ichigo for no reason and it turns out everyone was stronger than Aizen all along.

I think Kubo wrote himself into a corner, making Aizen uber strong. Having the entire SS under his hypnotism was cool in the SS arc, but afterwards, it was like "Wait a minute, that's kinda imba, isn't it?" so he had to make Ichigo all of a sudden ridiculously strong. For the next arc, he would have to either make every single character not named Ichigo useless, or make the captains all of a sudden power up like crazy

Making weak little Karin the new main character would prevent the whole "Oh, we were all stronger than Aizen all along lol" and would also have the added benefit of keeping Ishida/Chad/Orihime relevant. Whatever Ichigo was doing, Ishida/Chad/Orihime were so far behind in power that they were gonna be completely useless, but with a new main character, they can all power up together and they'll be more useful to each other, so we won't have this weird "Wow, all of the main characters are completely useless and will just hinder Ichigo" feeling.

It's not gonna happen, but I really hope Karin becomes the main character. Then, I may read Bleach for reasons other than "for the lols"
