Shit, I wonder how this is going to play out... It'd be really awesome if he had to fight with just martial arts and 'sort of' restart the arc. I really hope it doesn't restart from where it left off and this 'lost shinigami' is more powerful than Aizen or something ridiculous, although the possibility of that is still open.

I'd also really like to see the updated Gotei 13, especially since a bit of time has passed... Is time in the world of the living proportionate to Soul Society? I suppose a year and a half isn't a long time in the Seireitei but still I hope we see some new abilities such as the possibility of Kira/Hinamori/Rukia/Hisagi being captains of their respective divisions.

I really hope he doesn't magically regain his powers. It's pretty cool that now he's just some dude that happens to be really fit. Maybe Kubo realized the power levels were getting out of hand and the only way to address this was to kill Aizen's imba-ness with Ichigo's imbaness and do a complete power-reset where the two most imba characters in the series just disappear from the series

Karin/Yuzu team as the new main characters of the series!

Hmm, although the chapter didn't contain any action whatsoever, it brought back a sense of nostalgia.
A refreshing chapter that seemed to have it's own pace for a change.
I just hope when Ichigo finally DOES regain his powers, that this time Kubo will keep him in check. No "I just regained my long lost power -----> FULL POWER AGAIN ---> gogo fight foes of Aizen's calibre from the get-go."

Reminded me of the naruto hurricane...I wouldn't mind a bleach *blank* with an entire new approach to the manga. I love both so w/e 9/10 chapter with no fighting is pretty good. I predict this series is going to go in the direction of soul society drop outs have to eat Ichigo to gain his lost power.

Well that was kinda best episode for a long time, even though not much was happening. It kinda underlines the fact that bleach has fallen so low in past year or so. Seems to me like Kubo is trying for a fresh start...
