He can't allow 'her most powerful attack' to be nullified by just being dodged, now can he? But logically it's the most awful bankai versus anything that can move quicker than the average bad guy, because it takes forever to reach its target (and it's not homing). | ||

The reason that one hit was because Barragan was literally fucking trapped to where he couldn't dodge it. It would be a bit of a retcon at this point to say 'well, it was really really fast this whole time'. It's about as dumb as what he did, which was plot their way into getting hit by a blimp, basically. | ||
