![]() Easy Rider is a relic from 1969 but is still definitely worth a watch. I thought the acting was spotty at times (perhaps people from back then actually were as awkward as they were portrayed), but Jack Nicholson stole the show for the little bit he was in there, and the filmography and writing was great.

The producers covered up the "unrealistic" car chases/hijacks scenes pretty good. But the one scene where + Show Spoiler + Dom and Hobbs were brawling, Dom mounted Hobbs and swung with that metal tool piece which he could easily kill Hobbs with. Hobbs colleagues were just standing there, armed and did NOTHING. Like wth, fire them all they are so useless. Any decent cop would not let Dom swing that tool piece no matter what. I was expecting realistically Dom to get shot by one of Hobbs colleagues. Shoot in the arm/shoulder whatever just do not let him swing, lol. I don't expect any realism from fatf movies and I'm totally fine with the car chases/hijacks but that one scene was just kindergarten mistake by the producers. Overall enjoyed the movie. Best fast and furious for sure, but that does not say a lot ![]()

![]() Holy ****. Great movie. It's intense though... Definitely not for children. Makes you think about life, innocence, death, love, power, vulnerability, right and wrong (in oh so many situations). It brought about some really interesting thoughts and questions for me. I absolutely recommend it.

![]() Student Services. A French movie about a college girl and her method of paying for her first year of college. No rating. You should watch the movie if you watch the trailer and find the premise interesting.

![]() Most of this movie works really wwell, it has the exact things you want in a classic zombie movie. The early scene where they land the helicopter in a city and call with a bullhorn is definitely one of my favorite zombie (or even horror) movie scenes. I feel like it would have been improved by making the military characters a bit less over-the-top--their antics were what mostly produced the weak scenes that it did have. If they were more subtle, I feel like it could have been really brilliant. The heroine and all the other characters are fantastic though.

![]() The Machinist 8/10 A great psychological thriller starring Christian Bale. Starts a little slow but is captivating and interesting for the majority of the movie. Definitely worth your time! ![]() Commando 4/10 I only saw it because Schwarzenegger is in it. There are some great action scenes and memorable quotes, but not enough to carry this movie.

![]() Ikiru - A man diagnosed with stomach cancer comes to terms that most of his life has been wasted on pointless bureaucracy. Felt really sad after watching it T_T I would put this in the top 3 of the Kurosawa films I have seen so far. ![]() Tangled - Standard Disney movie formula, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Also had a few humorous parts that I honestly wasn't expecting to get. ![]() Tokyo Story - Two eldery parents come to visit their children in the bustling city, only to find themselves neglected by their children. Found this to be pretty depressing. Just reminds me to cherish what time I have left with any loved ones, because you just never know how much longer they will be around.

Tron:Legacy - This weekend premiere on Sky Movies here in UK Chaperone - Also the premiere this weekend on Sky Movies. Tron:Legacy 8/10 - Pretty sure you've all seen Tron, great film from start to finish, however i didn't like the ending, where it just stopped...and they just rode off into the sunrise, just added the stupid Disney ending to it -_- Chaerpone 4/10 - I watched this because it was a comedy, it was pretty funny and for a WWE superstar (HHH) acting it was pretty good and it made me laugh. Commando 4/10 I only saw it because Schwarzenegger is in it. There are some great action scenes and memorable quotes, but not enough to carry this movie. You gave Commando, one of the greatest Schwarzenegger action films a 4/10 ![]() ![]()

However the movies is great, fantastic effects and an awesome story with obvious parallels to both Frankenstein and Spartacus. The Frankenstein similarity is how the unnatural creation gains new needs along with life/intelligence. In the book its love, here it's freedom. I also thought about Spartacus and the slave rebellion with the superior hero leading his followers to freedom.

The Tree of Life (IMDB) + Show Spoiler + ![]() Artsy, beautiful, confusing and breathtaking! It's a coming of age story for both the characters and the universe around them. Thirst (IMDB) + Show Spoiler + ![]() I heard you guys like Korean movies! If you like vampire stories that don't involve glowy, brooding teenagers and are a fan of the likes of Oldboy and Lady Vengeance, give this one a whirl! Hanna (IMDB) + Show Spoiler + ![]() Saoirse Ronan is an amazing young actress, and both she and Bana give amazing performances here. The only let down is the somewhat forced symbolism throughout, but a great art/action movie overall. Monsters (IMDB) + Show Spoiler + ![]() A sadly underrated take on the monster movie genre. Though not the best movie I've seen, it's definitely worth a watch for the intricate way we're taken through the monster-inhabited USA. It's a road trip movie without much road left over :D A Prophet (Un prophète) (IMDB) + Show Spoiler + ![]() A quirky little mobster movie based almost entirely in a French prison. It's a very human story, and has some amazing moments.

![]() And i loved it. One of the best movies i've seen this year, easily. It's based on the trailer from the Grindhouse movies, and filmed in the same gritty style. It's basically about a Mexican named Machete who gangs up with other mexicans to fight against corrupt senators and drug lords, the usual. Lots of tits and explosions, and a bit of gore. At one point in the movie Machete uses a guys intestines to jump out of a window. It's totally over the top and really funny at times ![]() 9/10 Only thing i didnt like in the movie was Lindsay Lohan, who basically plays herself . Actually i dont think she knew she was in a movie. The whole time you just keep thinking "why the fuck is she in this movie?", it seems like she was thrown in for no reason at all. But you do get to see her boobs, so i guess there's that. But still.
