+ Show Spoiler +How do odd looking ears and archery skills result in you concluding that she's a bastard child?

Maybe it's just me, but her ears did seem odd at the start and then almost the next scene she puts a bullseye up. + Show Spoiler +Given that the series runs pretty much exactly along the story of the books, we who have read the books can tell you that if Arya is really a bastard, it is at least not revealed until book 5 (which has not come out yet). I think it is highly unlikely that she is a bastard, given that Cat would most likely be aware of which children she birthed out of her own vagina and that she doesn't really seem like the type of person who would cheat on Ned.

Love this show, can't wait for the next episode - its a shame there is only 10 episodes per season.
Between Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy and The Walking Dead television is really starting to pick up.

+ Show Spoiler [Agreed] +Though Arya expresses concerns she is bastard in the book based on her being much like Snow it is not supported by her supposed similarity to her father and if she wasnt Cats shild I think you would be able to tell given how she treats Jon

Well my obviously super sleuth skills led me to believe some obviously untrue (or not proved yet). + Show Spoiler +If she were to be an elf (not sure if they exist in the series), then Ned Stark would presumably not be her father, thus a bastard?
Edit: Engrish.

No, no elves in the series. Also, the actress is human. They're her ears, you know.

I am not entirely sure the actress is human o.O

And no Orks or Dwarfes either in this series (a certain Lannister excluded)

Confusing for fantasy fans, I am sure.

If I'm a stand in for "fantasy fans" let me tell you that I am well aware of that. If not ignore my post.

Maybe my post came out a bit weird, I meant for people who had not read GRRM but Tolkien and others (fantasy in general, mmorpgs, etc.) were dwarfs make up their own race.

Ok in all seriousness can people start marking what their spoiler will be about? To quote a spoiler tag and then make your post nothing but a spoiler tag is really hard for someone like me who has read book 1 but is only halfway through book 2. Just as a kindness to your fellow A Song of Fire and Ice fan and this TV show fan?

+ Show Spoiler [Content from after Book 1] +There are a couple of adventures that Arya goes on that pretty much cement her status as a Stark. Along with comparisons to her dead aunt. If she's a bastard child the series would pretty much become a giant troll job

I caught this show sunday for the Pilot episode, and despite having never read any of these books, found it absolutely fantastic. Anyone know if there is still an episode on Easter Sunday?

^like Ace did. Thank you very much Ace. I now know not to read it since book 1 is the only book i've finished so far.

No problem, I've been asking people to be extremely careful with their spoilers in this thread also. My spoiler isn't major but for some people it just might ruin their imagination ^_^
