I did find it kind of weird that she stopped the caravan and didn't tell him anything about it, even though she clearly planned it in advance. I mean...he's the king, maybe a heads up would be nice? Probably has something to do with Customs, something like you dont approach the king, the king approaches you. even if you are his fiance.

Margaery is really good at playing this.. game of thrones, me thinks.

Great episode to get back in shape, and love how they set so many things into motion.

Could this be made a temp ban? Serejai is a friendly helpful guy in the TL minecraft community, I'm pretty sure this wasn't trolling on purpose but just a failure in not seeing the big white box on top of this page.

You should take this to the webside feedback which is the correct place to discuss things like this, not in this thread.

What's up with the whole he killed his mother during birth? I assumed death from child birth was common in Westeros...was she somehow important?
It's Tywin's way of having another excuse to hate Tyrion other than the fact that he is a dwarf and disgraceful in terms of the whoring and what not. Sure but this is Tywin Lannister. He is an intelligent, rational, and direct man, and surrendering to "emotions" and making excuses are not things he does. Of course, he is still human, and we all have that one thing which gets to us. I suspect this is the one thing that gets under his skin. Maybe he had planned to have more children with his wife to carry on the family name, and her death took that opportunity away from him. it was said in the book (maybe also in the drama? I forgot) that after his wife died, he "changed" in fact, in the book he didn't really show any sign of affection to anyone other than Jaime. (but even then, it was for the greater good of the family) The scene with him and Arya in season 2 never even happened.
basically he is much nicer in the TV series and maybe that's why people are a bit confused why is he like this. He HATES Tyrion. literally hates him.
Hope this post didn't break any mod rule...

I'm pretty sure we got april fool'd. When I saw the ban I was pretty shocked, but it appears he actually isn't banned. Notice his icon isn't the typical nuke, and I couldn't find a report for his ban in the Automated Ban list.

Lol, these wildlings are like a bunch of romans!

I'm still confused why Winterfell burned when the Ironborns were being besieged by Northerners. Though from the conversation several pages back that was deliberately not answered? Hopefully it will be next week.
Also how is Dany paying for 8,000 slave soldiers when she had to loot gold items from Qarth just to pay for the one ship for her Dothraki?
Does Tywin know about the rumors about Geoffrey? The rumors are so prevassive even the common people are calling him a bastard born of incest.

Also Ygritte and Melisandre are the hottest, red heads op

and even though its incest, if i were tywin i would still be relieved to know that my grandson was the offspring of a proud and intelligent man like jamie rather than the drunk barbarian robert baratheon.

That scene reminded me of all those photo-ops the politicians do when they visit an orphanage or something. It seems to me she knows exactly what she is doing, and she knows that she can't rule King's Landing when the people hate her.
Also, can we please stop with all the "in the books" comparisons? They're still spoilers, no matter how minor, and a decently intelligent person can deduct a lot of information from those posts. We have a very strict no spoiler policy in this thread for a reason.

Comparing things with the books might be a bad thing, but i dont see anything wrong with providing basic lore/information that we learn pretty early on in the books but is never mentioned in the tv-series.
for example, if you only watched the tv-series you might not know what the valyrian empire was, or who rhaegar targaryen really was. this is shameful because these things did have a hyge impact on how the story from the very begining, and if you knew about it things would probably make more sense.

The problem with incest is that the kid tends to be kinda..broken. Thus: Joffrey.
edit: While we're on the subject of books. Without spoiling, I found the reason Jon Snow gave to Mance Rayder, for wanting to deflect, kinda weak. In the book it was a lot more elaborate..but I guess it required some more background story that the series just didn't have time for.

I was confused during the Robb Stark scene.
They're on a hillside looking at Harranhal (?) talking about how The Mountain is defending it. The next scene they're surrounded by 200 dead northerners. Did they attack Harranhal and just not show the battle? Did The Mountain die? Also, what's with all the tension and animosity towards Robb? Are the men losing morale? Or is everyone still choked Catlyn let Jamie Lannister free?
Overall, extremely glad this show is back. I've ran out of patience with TWD.

Tommen and Myrcella are good kids, and almost every targaryen was born from brother-sister incest and many of them where great, wise kings who brought peace and prosperity to the realm.
