How can they be called the unsoiled if they were standing there all night? Was a good setup episode to get us back into the world of Westeros that scene with Tyrion was really harsh, but felt very natural for Tywin to say that.

Barriston the Bold, and Bronn the Badass. Pretty thrilled overall with this episode. Really could see the increased cinematography.

Pretty good for a Season Premiere. . I read somewhere the third book is going to split up into at least 2 seasons ( and the next will too i think ) . I just hope this doesn't result in too many episodes without much happening.

Btw that scene between Tywin/Tyrion where Tywin explains why he does not claim Tyrion as his heir to Casterly Rock was just amazing. I could honestly feel the salt in the wounds from Tyrion's POV there.

Did they switch actors to represent that retired knight? He looked diff to me, but maybe that's my imagination.

Also, anybody know who would want Danerys dead that could conjure up little evil children? My first instinct is that the wizard in the house of the undying didn't actually die, but that doesn't make sense...right? I saw his ass on fire, and wouldn't' he have prevented them from crossing the narrow sea if he could have?

i think its the creature from the fire witch, might be wrong tho

i really have to rewatch the first 2 seasons, so many storylines...

Holy crap @ Tyrion's interaction with Tywin.. Extremely well acted and tons of character development there. That's a scene I can rewatch over and over.

For some reason, it doesn't strike the same chord with me as the Twyin - Arya scenes from last season. But maybe that's just because Tywin wasn't being such as asshole at the time with Arya.
