I think the fact that
+ Show Spoiler +
Nedd died makes it more awesome to see how it concludes
Is this going the be the seasons' finals or will we see more episodes for this season?

At this rate, I'm going to expect the Lanisters to win the war, winterfell to burn, Khal Droco to die and the little shit king to rule supreme. (The little kid is an amazing actor btw. I don't remember any character in any series that everyone hates so badly) Don't worry about it, as soon as a character you loved dies GRRM gives you reason to start loving another character. I hope that doesn't construe as a spoiler, it doesn't really reveal anything other than GRRM has a lot of likeable and deep characters (even ones you might not like at the moment) .

I saw an article about just that where a lot of shows have in the past said "no one is safe" and that is generally true for most side main characters. But everyone knows that Jack from Lost, or Tony from the Sopranos are not going to die. It's refreshing to see a show where main characters can die.

At that time it was commonplace for noble people to get married at the age of 13 (with marriage already being planned years ahead). And even look at Sansa/Joffrey, Cersei specifically asked her if she has bled yet, which would be the indicator of her being of age suitable for marriage. The average age of menarche (first period) for girls is 11.75 years so that's pretty young. Not to say that Daenerys is supposed to be 13 and gets fucked the first episode by a 40 year old giant. And impregnated.

I bet PETA is not most upset by Ned dying!! :D

Let's kill off the most likable character in the story thus far! Sure, it's a powerful move by GRRM but it's also the point at which a few people tend to stop caring. I, as a reader/watcher, didn't have enough invested into the other characters to really care nearly as much now that you can't cheer for Ned to somehow make it out of his predicament, which you saw coming from a mile away...

It was sarcasm, he didn't actually want you to start spouting random fact about medieval times. I don't think the characters are as young in the shows as they are in the books. In that case they severely failed at casting them. Emilia Clarke is like 24 or something, and doesn't look anywhere near 13 in the first episode.
