Well they did say they were gonna chain him up and interrogate him. First question will hopefully be. Have you ever had sexual relations with a bear? Followed by are there more wildlings south of the wall?

He has less than 24 hours to go out there and do what he needs/wants to. Likely just a few hours, as they could probably launch another assault within half a day.

Someone totally should do the math on that one.

It's not like 100k can scale the wall and be in shape to fight, let alone resistance at the top. Do you even know how tired you'd be after scaling that wall, let alone trying to do it in armor etc. Those that actually made it would be easy pickens for crow soldiers at the top. They could scale the wall at 300 different places along the Wall (it is 300 miles long) with 20 man at each place. Would only cost them 6k of their 100k. Or they could simply do more sneak attacks like the one with Thormund and the Thenns that they just did and that barely failed. Another attack of the same magnitude would probably be the end for the Watch. Although one should probably not think too hard about this. The wall does not make much sense in the first place. :D

I don't give a shit about people shooting arrows or randomly smashing their big weapons into the others, in the end we can sum it up with two sentences : "X,Y and Z died when savageons attacked the wall Jon Snow is going for rambo mission". I was really expecting something good as it's usually the case with last episodes from a season. There is another episode, this was the 9th, not the 10th

The wall does not make much sense in the first place. :D sorry, i only meant if they came at the wall head-on. More sneak attacks/flanks and yes, they'd be done for. I don't think scaling the wall is ever going to work, they have more than enough nights watch to patrol the tops of the wall and chop people down that get near the top, not to mention there is noway you could be ready for h2h combat on the wall after scaling the damn thing, you'd also likely be unarmoured because you couldn't even climb the thing with any meaningful weight attached to you. I don't know, I guess it's hard to conceptualize 100k people slamming into the wall and trying to climb, bust the tunnel etc. Of course it's going to be grossly inefficient for the wildlings, but I think the Watch needed a 1000:1 kill ratio to wipe out the army and I'm not sure the wall advantage would be 1000:1... hmm!

I suppose you'll need an engineer to confirm it's stability, but if they average about 9" thick than that would be more than enough. Of course the ones on the bottom would be significantly smaller though and you would need to make a ramp shape with the bodies of course.

I was really expecting something good as it's usually the case with last episodes from a season. Because it was not your cup of tea it doesnt mean it was bad though. I think one can objectively say that it was well done, reviewers will probably say the same. That you have different kind of episodes with different directors etc is one of the strengths of a show like this. It makes for variety. Although this episode still had plenty of dialogue and classic drama. That it happens in the middle of a battle doesnt mean it does not exist.
