Jon is fucked. Unless he meets bran and they form into a giant werewolf or something. I have no idea why they dont just seal the fucking wall even now. Ugh GoT. I feel bad for the daenarys plot after these 2 ones have been so strong, would have been more interesting if someone was constantly vying for her power, where right now people have said she has plot armor.

Could be because smashing someone's head on a hard surface is not very efficient. For more smashing, Jon would need to be in a kneeling position in front of the anvil. Using his back, neck and arms, Jon could resist pretty hard when he knows what is coming. Or alternatively if Jon just slouched next to the anvil, Styr would have to pick up Jon's head and a good part of Jon's upper body. It's easier to just kick someone lying on the ground than going to the effort of moving someone's body at high speed into obstacles.

There was a fair amount of over-the-top gratuitous action nonsense this episode.

of course the resurrecting zombies thing is assumed but haven't seen it in action. Is there anything else?

Superhuman strength Superhuman speed (we saw that in the pilot) Ability to shatter weapons (maybe certain materials?) Ability to raise and control the dead, supposedly regardless of species Ability to turn humans into White Walkers (at least that's what we know.. could be they can turn other species into White Walkers, so long as they are babies) The point is, we know little about them, and I personally think those powers are just the tip of the iceberg. Granted, they have weaknesses (dragonglass at least), but yep.. I'd say everyone is scared of them for a damn good reason.

One of the nights watch turned into a white walker IIRC, they dont have to be babies? Im pretty sure if you die in the north you HAVE to be burned at this point or risk turning into one.

The wights are the zombies, the White Walkers are the supernatural creatures who control them. The two Night's Watchmen that we saw in S1 were turned into wights, not White Walkers.

The raised dead are then referred to as wights. Don't know why they did it that way but that's how it is. Confusing I know.

(That rare moment where you actually sympatize with bitch Cersei and realize that she is just human and a scared mother holding her son in her arms awaiting for impending doom, preparing to pour poison down his throat to give him a mercykill to prevent him from being burned alive by mad-king stannis and his crazy religious zealots)
